Danganronpa is getting an animation?!! Well this might be interesting...
Also, apparently "Swim boys" anime is finally coming out...
And there is an Girls Fighting With Airsoft anime... what is this i don't even....! wat?
Also Corpse party is getting an OVA, so that's 2 Horror-Murder based shows this summer.
Is summer traditionally known as Shojo month or something? Really...

I'll have plenty to watch if I just watch sequels. Looking forward to more Recorder and Randosell; that left a hole when it ended. Maybe I'll watch ServantxService, since mike's a dog of the government now, so why not watch a dogs of the government anime? I wonder if Blood Lad will actually air this time?

Time to continue the anime chat, then?
Gargantia 9 was pretty interesting.

As the new Attack on Titan too.
a LOT of exposition on this episode, but it felt that it was handled nicely. Specially for an episode that happens entirely in a single square of land in the corner of a city.
The last minutes were just the right type of tension that makes little things look awesome.

No Sailor Moon...I wonder what is going on.
I wonder if it's being delayed to fall.
Anyway doesn't seem to be much here that interests me beyond what sounds like a Rozen Maiden reboot and maybe Senki Zesshou Symphogear G.

After so many episodes of consequence-less junk, episode 60 of Saint Seiya Omega kinda came from out of nowhere. Also, I wonder how fans of Ban and that other guy Naichi felt about them speaking English like goofballs. Do they even have fans to feel things?

Summer season pretty much starts tomorrow unless you're watching Kingdom, in which case it has already started, but no one watches Kingdom and that's not what I'm here to talk about anyway.
Suisei no Gargantia spoilers, don't click this if you haven't watched the thirteenth episode: That was about the happiest, most satisfying conclusion to an anime I've ever seen. It's right up there with Eureka Seven (AO never happened). They even got the purple dress guy from the beach episode to act like a human being instead of an obstacle (for a few seconds). It was really good stuff. I'm glad I watched this show.

It was a good ending, on the same trend of Eureka Seven's "everything was good forever and also the main couple is finally a couple for reals also the robot saved everyone and went away forever."
On the series as a whole, some characters felt rather...Familiar.
Amy felt like a really stereotypical genki girl.
Bellows is basically TTGL's Yoko, with a bit of Talho thrown in.
Ridget is a LOT like TTGL's Kinon after the time-skip.
Pinion is Kittan + Viral.
Rackage is Adiane. She has a crustacean-based mecha, quickly develops a relationship with the Viral parallel, is sadistic and dresses scantly.
Amy, Saya and Melty almost work like Kittan's sisters as a group: mostly eye candy, each with its own spin ( like how TTGL had a shy, glass-wearing girl, a brunette and a blonde with big breasts, Amy was "the normal one", Saya was the big breasted one and Melty...Well, Melty was the flat one. They're also all on the more energetic side of the spectrum, but with varying degrees.)
Kugel is Holland. They look similar and seem to have the same attitude of only letting younger people do their thing because they just can't do a thing about it or would rather take it upon them to do it instead of relying on someone else.
So hey
PIERCE THE HEAVENS WITH THE ORBITAL MASS DRIVER

I disagree with your assessment of Kugel. Kugel never threw a tantrum and trusted his subordinates. Holland was a tall, heavy child with a beard for most of the series (he got better, obviously). If I were going to describe Kugel in one word, though, I'd ignore all that and go with "Kugel is dead." Most of the Kugel we knew was just Striker's holographic dead man puppet show. Also, Melty is the small one.
As for the cannon, I thought it was a pretty interesting reveal that their irrigation system was the shock absorber for a mass driver. Didn't see that coming at all.
And then Recorder and Randsell Mi had to be delayed. What a drag on my Monday; I was looking forward to it.

But Kugel's personality was used for his puppet hologram. Remember, Ledo worked with him a long time and didn't find his behavior weird.

I have a friend annoyed that Gargantia's last episode was too fast and didn't do a bunch of drama that anime usually goes through.
...Wait, shouldn't these posts have become one?
