That art's gorgeous (imo). The trailer just had to be intentionally corny as far as I could tell or else someone should be fired for being so inane.

Also it IS being written by Mark Waid so I should probably just shut up and give him my money but still.

Is this going to be like when Peter's parents came back to life and then turned out to be evil robots and were destroyed? Or that time Gwen Stacey secretly had his twins and they grew up to be villains and he had to fight them and they died? Or that time Peter and MJ had a daughter who was kidnapped and then never seen (or mentioned) again? Or that time Peter had a clone who then died? Oh, I know, maybe it'll be like that other time Peter had a clone who then died!
Pretty sure Mark Waid wrote at least one of those actually.

Or that time Gwen Stacey secretly had Norman Osborne's twins and they grew up to be villains and he had to fight them and they died?
Fixed that for you.
Serious comics! You know, for adults!

Huh? I thought the baby died in childbirth from a poison. Or wait, maybe it got recently retconned so the baby lived? Crudbath, this is exactly why my interest in mainstream stuff from the terrible two is dwindling.

I knew I didn't remember all that right, but I figured it anyone knew better they'd correct me, and it works out for everyone. And it did!
