Looks like they "fixed" it by marking it as sold out online.

Considering that the ad says "Model: FREE METRO LAST LIGHT SKU: 9592148"
I would imagine someone decided to go out in a blaze of flaming glory and discounts on their last they at Best Buy

Looks like they'll be revoking all the codes they can. Just a heads' up that it isn't worth doing anyone any special favors for a promised code.

Can I get some kind of source for this please?

Took them a surprisingly long time.
*shrug* I don't even know what this is, but 1 cent is a low price.
A really, really awesome game that needs some more love.
I mean, I'd probably buy a really shitty game for that price, but I payed forty dollars for Metro and don't regret it in the slightest.

I assume they can't revoke codes that have already been redeemed?
I didn't actually buy this, because Mac and I already own it, but I'm curious.

History? =P

Bah. Tried finding it. The thread I saw it posted in got deleted.
Basically screenshots of chats with Best Buy support stating that orders would be cancelled and codes revoked.

I saw a bunch of posts on reddit of people saying their orders were canceled before they got their code emailed. I wouldn't put it past Best Buy to cancel any un-redeemed codes, since this is bound to be a costly SNAFU.
