This will probably be the coolest movie coming out this early summer. Discuss....

Hope I'm not the only one who thinks the title is incredibly stupid.

If it doesn't have Bishop in it than it's not worth shit, end of story.

I've been burned pretty badly by every X-movie between X2 and First Class so I'm still pretty wary, but from what I've heard this is supposed to do some heavy damage control on everything I hated so I might check it out.
Hope I'm not the only one who thinks the title is incredibly stupid.
It's an adaptation of one of the most famous X-Men stories ever which had the same name, so take it up with Chris Claremont and John Byrne three decades ago, I guess.

Tyrion Lannister created the Sentinels.

Some of the previews on the Daily Show and such have shown some pretty bad special effects, though. I don't know why they are trying to budget this movie but they appear to be.

This movie is technically flawless. I don't have any complaints. The Quicksilver sequence is especially superb. You'll know why when you see it.

saw it I am okay with it...but there are a few glaring problems with it that doesn't make it as good as first class. spoilered some of the things for your protection.
First off, WHERE THE HELL DID KITTY LEARN TO THROW MINDS BACK IN TIME?! I mean Seriously! That alone is a huge stress on my WSoD. I mean with out it their would be no plot, sure. however I could at least form 2 or 3 different non plot hole ways to do it.
Also, Why does Wolverine need to be shoehorned in again? I mean at least it has a reason but one of the great things about the comic was that it took kitty who was considered a scrappy at the time and made her bad-ass.he is also almost completely ineffective this time around
WHY DID NEARLY EVERYONE IN FIRST CLASS DIE OFF SCREEN! I MEAN, HEY! ALL OF THEM HAD GOOD CHARACTER ARCS AND DEVELOPED PERSONALITIES LETS MURDER THEM ALL BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT MARKETABLE! They just swept it all under the rug.
Speaking of developed characters Why is it that many well established characters or interesting new characters don't get anything important to say! I mean Kitty just info dumps and then does nothing and the others shout each others names! The only characters with something to say were ether Magneto or the professor.
Speaking of ruining other movies, Way to sweep the entire arch of The Wolverine under the rug with the return of Gene!
Also Why the fuck did The professor feel guilty when magneto talked about those mutants that SUPPORTED SHAW'S NUCLEAR WINTER PLOT! They were gonna kill everyone! These people need not be mourned!
Other then these things I found it alright. Blink's fight sequences where great and creative. The Future Sentinels are rather well done, animation wise. Being Narmy and frightening at the same time. Past Sentinels however where laughably bad (in animation except when magneto tore one of them to shreds)

The same reason Wolverine is shoehorned into the comics. Cause he's popular, and lets be honest one of the best actors in the franchise

I really have to disagree that the mutants from First Class had good story arcs or development. The ones they mostlyl left out of this movie like Banshee, Havok, Angel--I didn't care for them at all when I watched First Class.
I really do think First Class is inferior to this film. It had too many mutants who were almost completely undeveloped. This movie on the other hand focuses on characters who had far more development in First Class and thus were apparently worth exploring further.
I think Xavier cared about Azazel and Emma Frost because they were mutants. He felt they were wrong in their actions I'm sure but that doesn't mean they deserve to be ostracized or killed by humans. So when Magneto brings up that they're being hunted down he'll have at least some reaction.

I enjoyed this movie and am pleased by the end result where all the movies I hated aren't a thing anymore.
Also: "GET OUT OF MY HEAD, CHARLES!"
Did the really just?

Well I mean the third one already had the whole "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch" thing. That's relatively tame.

"Get out of my head" is kinda a line you'd expect with any Telepathic character at some point. It's just... so easy.
Anyway I found this to be a pretty good film. Standard complaints apply,( Too Much Wolverine,) e.t.c. I WILL say that for the first time ever I felt that a movie was actually too dark for me to make out what was happening at certain points, and it didn't seem intentional when it happened. I've heard people make this complaint about games, movies, e.t.c. and not had that problem, but damn, the post-apocalyptic future was supposed to be covered in a faint radioactive glow, you guys.

This movie's greatest triumph is erasing X3 from spacetime.
It was all right. Quicksilver probably could have just solved every problem for them in 10-15 minutes though.

This forum really needs an autocorrect for these kinds of typos.

I thought X3 was worse but I'll assume you meant to add an "and" statement and the same thing otherwise.
