is the official title of the Batman/Superman movie. Basically.
Okay, it's just Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But still.
I guess it's clearly a Justice League prequel.

Could be good, but I'm not holding my breath.
Goyer's opinions and behavior are awful, bad enough that not even the comments section of that article can't focus on that without diverting to Pokemon sex out of reflex. It's beautiful and horrifying.

i have no faith...
If this was like 2 movies (part 1 and part 2) and each were 2 and a half or 3 hours long they would have enough room to explain everything that needs showing in order for this to be good... in a single flick? No way.

You mean like...The Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Marvel made individual movies (multiple even in some cases) of their heroes before pairing stuff up. In the Avengers, you can totally enjoy the movie without seeing any of the previous one. For sure. but it was clearly made for you to know who those characters were beforehand, which most of the audience for that movie did know anyway.
I don't think they need an origin film for Batman... to be quite honest, for superman i would think a Origin Montage early in the movie would be enough... but they do need to setup an movie that would justify these guys coming together...
Which is why i always defended that the best to do this was the Justice League cartoon. There were no Origin tales there for each hero, they were already stabilished and active, but they did create a world even where those heroes had to come together and go ''you know what? We should stick together more often...'' The original Justice League pilot, Secret Origins, did that in 3 episodes. A full animated movie length.
If the writing team of the Justice League cartoons were spearheading this movie i would be fangasming all over it... but i have little faith the current people can pull it off.

Dawn of the Bromance? Hehehe...
That kind of reminds me of the homoerotic, sex-fueled World's Finest #289 (http://www.cracked.com/article_18957_the-8-most-awkward-sexual-moments-in-comic-book-history.html). Hot and heavy in the Fortress of Solitude...

That's what I meant with my joke. They could quite easily emulate the Marvel Cinematic Universe and do it properly by having individual movies before the team up, but they seem determined not to do that by adding in Wonder Woman and Cyborg and then saying the next movie will just be Justice League.

Because the closest experience with comic books of the suits hiring them is the Sunday funny pages. And not even the good funny pages.

...except She Hulk pretty much was created as the sexual fantasy counterpart to the Hulk male power fantasy. Nothing said there is really wrong.
Honestly, I have an incredible disdain for nerd culture because nerd culture is a toxic fucking cesspit of man-children and immaturity, and I can still enjoy superhero movies! There's nothing about making a really good, really strong superhero movie that does great that involves having to like the fanbase culture that surrounds it.

I guess.
But She Hulk's a kickass lawyer. I'd like to believe it's possible to like her as a character for reasons unrelated to the "sexual fantasy" she presumably portrays.

I'm sure she's had many great and empowering portrayals, but that doesn't erase a problematic origin, the same as having a problematic origin doesn't invalidate any changes in portrayal later on.

No, it's pretty much wrong.
It's generally accepted that She-Hulk was created in response to the success of CBS's 'Incredible Hulk' television series that prompted theories that a female-centric spinoff was plausible, ala the 'Bionic Man/Woman' series that proved decently popular. If this occurred in the show first, the character's rights would have belonged to CBS, and Marvel wanted to cover its bases. Certainly writers since then may have done dubious things regarding her sexuality/sexual expression, but it wasn't there from inception. Mostly because she was introduced as Bruce's cousin gaining a similar powerset from an emergency blood transfusion, and comics weren't quite icky enough to make incest a thing (we can thank the Ultimates-verse for that).

Honestly? It's one of those things where the answer is more like ''Depends on who is writing her''.
In the hands of a shitty writer She Hulks can totally be nothing more than a green pin up girl... in the hands of a competent writer, she is a heroic female character.
So, if someone is not really familiar with the character... by having access to the ''wrong books'' they can totally get the wrong impression of that character. What matters here really is how that character was conceived as... the baseline of it's creative process of creation.
On the other hand... you should expect better research from the moron who did the first run on the the latest and most important movie for DC comics...

Stan Lee said the main idea with She-Hulk when they first created her was to have an intelligent Hulk character. That she is also hot is not really a particular by-product of She-Hulk but comic books in general. You could make the same dismissive statement about Batwoman, Spider-Woman, etc. if you wanted, but I think you would be wrong.

While I wouldn't rule out Stan Lee wanting a female hero to look sexy, I do know one thing. He loves challenging himself.
Spider-Man: Lets make a teenager a superhero with all the issues that come with it
Ironman: You know those rich elites that are part of the military industrial complex that our readers hate? I'm gonna make one of them the hero
The Thing: Maybe it might suck having super powers
The Hulk himself came about when he was writing generic monsters that rampaged, and him wanting to make a story about the creatures that normally exist just to give the protagonist an enemy.
So I have a much easier time believing She-Hulk was him exploring what the Hulk would be like with intelligence and restraint.
Also its been awhile since I saw early she-hulk. But I recall her not really fitting in with traditional beauty. More of a female body-builder than a super model.
I guess.
But She Hulk's a kickass lawyer. I'd like to believe it's possible to like her as a character for reasons unrelated to the "sexual fantasy" she presumably portrays.
She's basically the Phoenix Wright of the Marvel universe.

In general, it seems that the more muscle she has, the bigger her breasts are.
It's kind of conflicting.

The movie will probably be a steaming pile of shit like Man of Steel.
But Synder is directing, so much like the Batsuit First Look, and all his other work, it will be a very visually incredible steaming pile of shit.

I love superheroes in ways that are probably not healthy but I agree with all of this. Nerds ruin everything, it's the only sane course of action to love "nerdy things and hate nerd culture.

The avengers is the final rollout of a long series of movies... it had proper setup. It was enjoyable on its on, for damn sure. But most of the appeal was seeing the heroes you got to know from the previous movies on the screen together. This JL movie doesn't have that... so even though we know who Batman, Superman, Lex, Wonderwoman, Aquaman and etc are... we haven't had a chance to know what the interpretation of them in this movie-verse is...

To be fair, if anyone is going to make Aquaman seem cool to the average person it's going to be Jason Mamoa wielding a trident from the back of a kraken.
