I know this sounds kinda odd, but I need closure to this question that's been pestering me for a while:

Why are Half-Asian girls so much hotter than either White or Asian girls on their own?

So far, I've asked just about everyone I know, and only gotten two disagreements (who knew an exception) and one hypothesis ("You've been playing too much Final Fantasy"). I only really post on two boards, one of which is not related at all (Wizards of the Coast), and I have no interest in joining a board "dedicated" to "hot Half-Asian chicks" for the sole purpose of asking this question and then taking a scalding hot bath to cleanse myself.
Thus, the question falls to you people.

I prefer whole girls myself. Those half girls are hard to get around. And it also gets annoying that I have to keep switching sides everytime she turns around to escort her. And for pictures we can obviously only get side profiles. :)

In all seriousness though, I don't know maybe good genes passed on from both races? I don't really think I would be able to distinguish what a half-asian would look like. I'd need an example because I don't see many.

Do you mean half chinese? Half japanese? Half phillipino? Half thai?

The thai, chinese, and phillipino have flatter noses than the japanese, with the phillipinos having the flattest... the chinese have rounder heads, while the japanese have more angular heads, etc. etc.

I, personally, prefer full blooded japanese girls to half-white half-any asian race... or even fully white.

Of course, that's a vast generalization, and there are many white girls (Jessica Alba, Audrey Hepburn, those TATU chicks, and that's keeping away from women I've met in real life) that I find just as attractive as the majority of japanese... and some japanese that make me shudder and gag.

Especially older japanese women. Asian women tend to age really horribly... not always, but often. And people wonder why the japanese have a school girl fetish.

Maybe you like Asian girls and tall girls.

Most of the Chinese or Japanese girls I know are significantly shorter than the white ones. So, if you like long, beautiful, Asian legs, you may be at a loss for a pair until you seek out a half breed.

That's my best guess. My general opinion is that a girl is a girl and red hair makes one worth dating.
Note: That is a terrible way to go about dating. I don't suggest anybody follows my example.

Uh... this is a bit of a weird topic, since I really don't care where a girl's from. hot is hot. But I'm like a quarter Korean, and you can't really tell too easily. Plus look at people like Brandon Lee, who look pretty much completely caucasion, despite being half chinese. Genes are pretty damn relative, so its hard to say half of this and half of that = good looking.

You know, this thread has gotten me thinking. Is it racist to prefer one race aesthetically over another, or is it just that--an aethetic preference? If say... I don't like black girls (even though I do), does that make me racist against them... or if I like asian girls more, does that make me racist? Or do you have to like/dislike them beyond who you'd be more likely to 'do' to be considered racist?

I'd say having an aesthetic preference isn't racism... but closer to a fetish, except, in most cases, not as strong.


Only reason I present this here instead of making a new thread is because everyone is pretty much saying the same thing: long winded versions of 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder', and I don't see this line of 'discussion' lasting for much longer.

A racist will prefer one race over another.

That's obvious. But that's the entire situation. Racism is more malicious and ignorantly based.
Perhaps, if I were to try and force Asians and Americans to marry so we'd have only half Asians/Americans, then there'd be a racism issue, and it'd be against both sides.

Seeing as the subject here is like and lust, and not procreation (Or the deterring of procreation), there is no element of racism here. Simply a racial preference in what is pleasing to the eye.
Er, that is, one race is being uplifted, but none are being put down. And, of course, this applies to only a singlular, small group of people from a group, so not even a whole group is being held in supremacy...

No I've had this discusion before. It's not racism it's just preference. I like strawberry icecream better than chocolate and would rather have that. I'd rather have a red car than a yellow car. It doesn't mean you can't like someone of a certain ethnicity. Simply that you aren't as attracted to them. Sometimes it can be people look for other people of the same background because there is a sense of security in that. That's not always the case though. Everyone has there own little likes and dislikes about other people and that's alright. It's not bad to have some standards but you don't need to always follow them. I actually prefer blondes with green eyes. My g/f is a brunette with hazel eyes. So go figure. lol Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Well I would have to guess genetic veriety. I imagine if you were asian, or black, or whatever you would find a cuacasian (proper term wrong spelling) more atractive. Or maybe it is just getting the best trates from both. I personally like south-east asian and latin girls. In fact this one girl I am interested in is mainly Phillopeano (hope I spelled that right she beats me when I dont), though she has some European and Chinese. By the way for as far back as I know I am 100% European.

Also those hot mail order brides sure would contribute to it. Not saying the reason just bringing that fact up

I accept the other things (intellegance is more of a steriotype but I wont go into that). But voices have more to do with your main language then ethnic background. The girl I mentioned before might be asian but I couldn't tell by her voice. She sounded the same as any other girl in the US.

Instead of thinking of it when you're dating someone, think of it as what kind of porn you look at (as that racial preference in this context is based purely on lust, and people rarely date purely on lust... but they do look at porn on lust alone). If someone doesn't like black porn, but loves asian porn, is that in some way racist against black women/men or racist for asian women/men (you know, depending on which gender you're looking at)?
