So I just finished the first season of Merlin, and it's pretty swell. Angry John Hurt dragon is a good finale. I'm going to start buying the rest of the series. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CZ7uwN8AvI) Now I'm about to start watching Camelot.

I have a minor obsession with knights and The Death Of King Arthur in particular, as I'm fond of bringing up. Just enough to cause me to blow my paycheck on the Game Of Thrones super duper box set of Westeros. You know that people actually die in that series? Really ups the tension over Merlin. Doesn't have Merlin or Arthur though.

So which is better? Katie McGrath or Eva Green?

Camelot was better than Merlin, even if it they cancelled it after season 1.

Merlin lures you in with silly fun and terrible CGI like Doctor Who, and then makes you genuinely care about the characters.

Camelot is like a really in depth episode of the History channel.

Again, not giving either preference over the other, just saying that they're both different.

Merlin does have a lot more sweaty, shirtless men, though.

Still thought this was a better ending than Merlin's, I suppose.

OFF-TOPIC

Speaking of History channel, Vikings is a cool show. You should watch that.

ON-TOPIC

Joseph Fiennes was just so good in Camelot, as was Eva Green. Really everyone but the guy who played King Arthur.
