Alright, here's the new thread. I still need to make my character, and I'll get on that right now, since I've finished drawing a picture I was working on.

Now this is up to you guys on when we start. We could start today or the next good time would probably be saturday afternoon.

If we start today, keep in mind, I have 3 hours of marching band in about three hours and my dance recitals on friday night and saturday afternoon, so there might be some downtime at those times. But with those things in mind, when do you guys want to start this thing?

Alright. I finally got my character down. Here she is:

Name: Reena Alaer
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: Reena Has dark hair that she keeps up in a clip letting loose strands frame her face. She is blind in one eye but she has no bionic replacement for it. She wears a long black jacket over her dark pants and shirt.
Equipment: A small pistol for self defence
Bio: Reena has lived in the lower area for her whole life. She runs a small family store in the lower section to make a small income, just enough for her to live off of. She has to deal with constant robberies, rent, and lowlifes as customers. She also does some small jobs for the more wealthy residents of Aeron to make enough money to keep her store. She's trying to get enough money to move away from Aeron someday, but it doesn't look like it's ever going to happen.

Also, referring to the RP, I believe you really don't knock people out with Morphine, that just makes them kinda goofy, (more of a painkiller) then if you use too much, you would stop their breathing and kill them. ^^;; heheh. But this works, because it would be hard to do anything plot-wise with an unconcious guy.

Morphine's just a pain-killer. Give a high enough dose and it knocks people out, but given that he's carrying it in his ARM I duobt there's a lot of it.

On an even further side note, Derek has no intentions of shooting him. Normally he'd have just kicked him in the side of the head to knock him out, then carried him to the ambulance... but you can't really do that to a guy with head trauma, unless you want to kill him.

There was once a sword master named Kaijan Toshiro, he was an aging man, and he decided one day that he should take on a student to pass on his skills. Hearing this, the mayor of the town brought his three sons to the master’s home so that he might train them to become great samurai. He was told to wait and send in each of his sons, one at a time to meet the master.

Upon facing his first possible student, the master asked, “Why should I take you as my student?”

The first student replied, “I have unrivaled discipline of body and mind, sensi.”

Then without warning, the master knocked a vase from a table next to him toward the student, and the student, like he claimed, stood firm, and allowed the vase to break upon him.

After this, the master replied, “I have no use for a student like you, leave here and send the next student.”

The next student entered and knelt before the master, and the master looked upon him and asked, “Why should I take you as my student?”

Then, once again, the master suddenly knocked another vase from a table next to him toward the student. The student, wanting to prove his claims, drew his sword and sliced the vase cleanly into two halves.

The master looked upon this student with disdain and said to him, “I have no use for a student like you. Leave here at once and send in the last student.”

As the last student entered and settled into place the master asked for a third time, “Why should I take you as my student?”

The final student replied, “I am not as disciplined as my oldest brother, nor am I as fast as my other brother. But I will work and train hard for you, sensi.”

Then, the master knocked his last vase from the nearby table toward the student, and this student, rose and caught the vase, handling it with the greatest of care. Then he placed it back upon the table and returned to his place.

The master smiled and said to the student, “That vase represents the people of this country. Unlike your oldest brother you did not let if fall to the ground through inaction. Unlike your other brother, your first reaction was not to destroy. Perhaps you have what it takes to become a samurai.”

With that, the old master accepted the youngest brother has his student and, as was hoped by his father, the youngest brother became a great samurai, known throughout the land for his wisdom and skill.

Well, you could have your character have witnessed all of the crazy guy's ramblings, then have gone home, like my character did, it will all work out.

I'm not sure if the inactivity in the RP is because of the forums messing up a bunch lately, or because of people having things to do, or if people just don't like it, but I'm gonna try and get the real story going and make the next chapter, hopefully things will pick up from there.

And could you change your character around a little so that he's not wealthy enough to live in the nicest sector. (nobody was allowed to be rich)

I used to have a chocolate lab named Coco. Don't know why they call them chocolate labs, though... they don't taste anything like chocolate. Although, they ARE pretty good.
