I just hope he knew who he was when he went. He was far too good of a man to suffer from that kind of hell.

Oh my gosh, how sad! He was a brilliant writer, one of my favorites. I actually just picked up Raising Steam last weekend. The world has lost a great man.

The world was already losing him steadily...I am glad that the pain and confusion finally has ended for him. He supposedly died in his sleep with his cat on his lap surrounded by family.

I've never read any of his books, but I've always heard good things about them. Maybe I'll make a point of starting in on one now...

If you have trouble finding time to read a book, the movie Hogfather was very loyal to the characters personalities, and I had a really good time with it.

Best thing I've read on it today:
There is No Past Tense of Terry Pratchett (http://scottlynch.us/blog/2015/03/13/there-is-no-past-tense-of-terry-pratchett/) by Scott Lynch, author of the Gentleman Bastard series.

Terry Pratchett was my favorite author by far. He was one of my biggest heroes, and shaped so much of my worldview. And he was just a wonderful human being. One of the best of us. His death is affecting me in a way that no other celebrity death ever has. I'm devastated.
