So... John x Sherlock (http://static.diary.ru/userdir/3/0/3/2/3032897/75829271.jpg) is a thing. I could see that. They seem like good buddies, but I could see that.

...But I just started Hannibal and I've got a question; are Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter dating? Like, their first scene alone together is when Hannibal just about brings Will breakfast in bed.

And then one look at Hannibal's face as Will describes the Shrike copycat, I feel like you could play "Hungry Eyes" and it would be appropriate in every way.

But seriously - are there any famous literature adaptations where the leads aren't beautiful men staring longingly at each other? Oh, wait, Bates Motel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-6q50aY4ZI) is a thing now. Let's just adapt everything into a TV show then.

But seriously - are there any famous literature adaptations where the leads aren't beautiful men staring longingly at each other? But beautiful men staring longingly at each other has been the basis of theater since classical Greece. That, and painstakingly explaining every little thing that happens so that the slower-on-the-uptake audience members won't start screaming "Plot holes! That's not how a real person would act!" and smashing pots to vote you out of town.
