i would love to be able to do that, if someone could point me in the right direction. I've never been interested in music [by that, i mean notes, pitches, and actual instruments] in my 23 years, until about two weeks ago, and i'm learning quite fast. if someone could hook me up with some info so i can do some kinda transfer like that, that'd be awesome.
that is, if it is possible to do that... the writing of a tune yourself and all...

There are some internet page's where you can write your own tune and in some of Nokia's models atleast you can write your own tunes.

Buy a Nokia! :D Doing some advertisement here...Seriously though they are the only ones I know that you can make your own tunes with. Unless you go to the net though.

Hey hey, does anybody happen to know a good place where I can find video game ringtones for this model phone? I have been looking nearly everywhere online and I can't seem to find any compatible with my phone. Brian, I know you got a Samsung x427 (Read on the front tee hee!) Perhaps you could help me out?

Actually my Samsung (no idea what model, whatever's free with activation at T-Mobile :-P) has a music composer that gives you an actual bar staff. whole, half, dotted quarters, everything man. Even 1/16th rests! I love my phone :). I was bored one day and composed "Angel of Music" from Phantom. It's now my ring.

Well I have the Nokia 7210 and with the help of a data cable and a software pack from the Nokia website you can actually transfer both pics and music from your PC to your phone.....

Most phones you can purchase a data transfer kit. It will bridge the gap of which you speak. Motorola & most companies also have phones that have a capacity for composition. And Nokia sucks.

oh, i have a composer, i have a samsung something or other, can't remember. it has an actual staff too, but only 1/16 to 1/2 notes and rests, and dotted quarter notes. i wrote in 'Lost Woods" theme from zelda: ocarina of time and it sounds pretty good. it's just annoying that i had to spend two hours learning how to read music so i can do that. not to mention the task of putting the notes in. it took fifteen minutes to put in sixty four beats! AND no one cares!

My friend has the Tetris song as his ring tone, it's pretty cool. De de de de de, dammit, its stuck in my head, damn catchy song.
