I think you have Meddros confused with TLF. Meddros :bbelt: does the VS. animations; TLF does the rehashes. They're two different people, with two different styles of animations.

Meddros :bmage: is releasing a new VS. animation this weekend, which does have voices.

Actually, I've already seen it. Even though (because he can't always count on me,) I'm not actively helping him on every project, I still merit a looksee.

And I still complain about the FF1/FF3j White Mage every time!

Say, Medfella, how long does it take for something to be posted on Newgrounds after submission? Hours, days, weeks?

It takes minutes to post on Newgrounds. Once I load up the movie and put all the info in it will be there. Then I can just link it over hear and everyone can go there to see it.

I know how double posting is not acceptable but I hope you will forgive me. The animation is up and running. Here is the link.

*squeeeeeeee!*

At last! At last, its up! Its finished and its up and its being viewed! .... i have absolutely no fingernails left and have dentally amputated my hands halfway down to the elbows.

We had so much fun making this, we're gonna do it again -- after all, we can't let those great voice-over actors wind up on the unemployment line, can we? Stand up and take a bow, folks, you were all awesome.

Heh, great job. I love the animation, especially BM's eyes. And the refrigerator door was amazing. I love the outakes/gags ^^

You guys also did a great job on the voice acting. Keep up the good work.

So, is it my mistake or were all the VAs (Voice Actors) used, the same as the TLF 8-Bit movies (excludding BB & I'm not sure if WM has or hasn't been in a 8-Bit feature yet).

FINALLY! I'm so glad that, at long last, this one is DONE! Meddros, Katze, you guys rock. How much do you rock? About thirty degrees before fallig over.

One thing, though. There wasn't enough lime green in the credits.

They didn't sound like the same voice actors/actresses to me. But I could [very well] be crazy.

The voice actors are all mostly new. Fighter is the only one from TLFs other animations.

And Slack you will be seeing more lime green in the future. But only on the stuff you view. Cause I love you that much.

Also this animation would not be as good as it was without you either, so thanks for being a part of it.

Slackbot

It'd be hard for me to view green - or any other color - on the stuff that I don't view, wouldn't it?

Glad to be a part of it. Making sprites is fun, even if I gotta grill you sometimes to find out what you're looking for. :)

What do you mean by "sprite release"?

I think Archdeco made the mistake that most of the original spritework for this movie was done by me, which it wasn't. Since I've got a running thread here (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showthread.php?t=328&highlight) which has a good deal of the sprites I've done, I think Arch was hoping that I'd release the sprites in a timely manner.

Of course, since the only sprites I've done for this movie, are ones that I made for WM Vs BM, I think everything on my part is already out there.

So if there is to be a sprite release, it isn't my bailiwick. Maybe if you (Archdeco) beg & plead in the thread, something might come of it.

Then again, you might get a big ol' denial. I mean, I wouldn't blame the spriteters (I think it was Slackbot & two others, if I'm not mistaken), as I had a hard time myself when I first did a sprite release of any kind.

I don't have any problem with posting the sprites I did for this movie; if other people can get some use out of 'em, more power to 'em. Should I post them in the thread you started, SWB, or would you rather keep that one for your work only?

Well it all depends... I mean, it'd certainly drive home the misconception that I'm the one responsible for the sprites. But if you want too, go ahead. Still, I'd suggest you post them here, or in that stickified thread devoted to sprites in the Arts N' Crafts section.

I'm not one to get too bitter about things, so I'll just settle this in a mature manner as getting upset about a few sprites is I suppose pretty insignificant in the big scheme of things. Yes, it is. Actually, the sprite on my sheet is not identical to the sprite you created. Take a look at the hands - yours are flat, mine are fisted. So, it's a mod of a sprite you drew, just as all of our sprites are mods of Square's. Still, I have no urge to get into a custody argument, so the sheet's gone. All better?

That's cool man. I was trying not to sound bitchy and such, but yeah, you know how it is. Meddross put my name in the credits for additional sprites and original poses, just not that he's gonna identify which are which to who. I don't mind people using it, just for a moment I was seeing what I've soooo many times elsewhere; taking credit for someone else's work. Thanks again.

Hey, don't look at me! Meddros put that in there himself! Don't ask me why because I don't know! :D Although some followers would be nice.

Anyways. About Meddyman's animation, I couldn't help but wonder whether BBvsBM will be part of a bigger animation that I won't disclose the name of as of right now, but just considering the title of it, I wouldn't be surprised. Slackbot, you might know the one I'm talk about, just that I think Meddros told me not to spoil the name for the public.

Two on the VS button. One on "V", one on "S"
Check through the gallery after the credits. BB will show up twice in the bottom right corner. You have to go through the gallery twice to see him. Click him each time he appears, then go back to the menu. Another scene will appear.

I can't find any others, so have fun! ;)

I loved this Movie. BM's voice was very close to TLF's animations. Lol. Black Mage and his Pie. You should do Black Mage Vs Pie. YES

Anyway, Ive notice how after you made it to the front page, every reviewer says that it sucked. WHat is it with people. Everyone else likes it and just because of that one person who didnt thinks we were high. Heres what they said:
Jesus this isnt good some u ppl must be high June 25, 2004

Reviewed by: KanyeToThe Overall Score: 3

I will start off by saying the only good part in this entire train wreck of shit is the intro when i saw that i had some hope for this but when u get to the choice of whose gonna win this thing turns into dog shit what the fuck was that a god damn maze and all of a sudden he runs into a girls bathroom im gonna say this loud and clear THIS WASNT FUNNY I DID NOT LAUGH ONCE. Then we get to the black belt winning why the hell were they in some piece of crap house and why did his win involve some pie god, the only real impressive graphics i actually saw were the stupid fridge door. Why is everyone finding this funny it wasnt it was borderline humor, SO IM GONNA SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME THIS WAS NOT FUNNY.

Nah, every reviewer didn't say it sucked. Lots of people loved it and gave it 9s and 10s. There are some number of people who gave nasty "THIS SUCKS YOUR SO GAY!" type reviews, though. I don't mind constructive bad reviews, when they say why they didn't like it - they don't like sprites, for example - but if it's just nastiness then it's best to hit the "abusive review" button and move on.

If everybody was giving it bad reviews, would it have a 4.15 out of 5, and be the #60 scorer on the whole site? :D

Looking through the reviews, its frighteningly easy to spot who's familiar with 8-Bit Theater and who isn't ^_^ You can almost keep a score...

However, that is certainly one of the lessons learned from this animation release: Mention in the author's notes that this is an 8-Bit Theater-specific fanimation. If you don't know 8-Bit Theater, you're not likely to get the jokes or appreciate the flick. Thhhhhpppt :-P~
