I tried a new candy bar to-day. It was a symphony bar, by Hersheys. It was real big. It had almonds and toffee chips. Also, I tried to get myself a neat-o picture on my profile dealy, but it said my pictures wouldn't work. Can anyone help me out?

MasterOfMagic

Maybe it was to big? Also, try a different format.

Nothing beats Twix.

NOTHING.

Also, I tried to get myself a neat-o picture on my profile dealy, but it said my pictures wouldn't work. Can anyone help me out?

Was it under 19.6 KB and within 100x100 pixels?

NOTHING.

Bullsh*t. Starburst and smarties easily beat Twix.

Starburst and smarties easily beat Twix.

Heathen! Heretic! America-hater!

The smooth, creamy caramel and crispy cookie crunch is second to none!

Oh yeah, well... yeah!! Smarties make you smart! (I eat alot of them, can't you tell?) And Starburst.............. Oh! they give you a burst of the flavor star in your mouth!!!

Symphony has been out for a LONG time. And the one he bought was most likely one of the huge hershey ones that you can find on the top shelf at Walgreen's. There are smaller versions.

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 02:23 AM
Ah, but Twix takes the smoothness of caramel and crunchy cookie goodness and puts them together in a milk chocolatey coating!.

It's like a party in my mouth and everybody's invited... except for you and your Twix-hating lies.

....

On another note, you know, Snickers really does satisfy.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 02:27 AM
But I can buy my Smarties in huge quantities at one time. Rather than two measly sticks. Also, note the fact that your twix being in two sticks means less volume of candy goodness then your average candy bar.

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 03:00 AM
Measly?

What know-nothing, Twix-hating barbarian could possibly call those two sweet slices of chocolatey heaven "measly"?

Hah! Your kind complains of pearls because they're too small to find in the muck!

Keep your sickly-sweet little wrappers of Smarties, in their packets that spill at the slightest mishandling, letting rotten little treacle-rocks take root beneath the couch cushions! Wreck your jaw upon chemically flavored rubber cement, individually packaged to make a handful of crumbs seem like a feast to fools' eyes!

I shall enjoy my pure caramelly goodness... and when it is done, I shall promptly enjoy another! For such is the way of Twix -- such is it's wisdom!

What next -- Mentos-eaters?

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:07 AM
Ah, but I have yet to bring out my greastest weapon of all: You can play with them! Yes, I typed that right, you can set up little battles with smarties! Color agianst color, Sweetness agianst...uh...even more sweetness! Tremble in fear at the awesomeness of SMARTIES!!!!!!

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 03:11 AM
Bah.

When I want a toy, I'll go find some Pogs.

When I want pure candy joy, Twix is the only true choice.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:12 AM
You can't eat pogs when they die gloriously in battle, so there.

Pretty Mary K
06-19-2004, 03:13 AM
I don't like Smarties. :(

Is it true they don't have Smarties in the States? Or is my pal just pulling my leg?

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 03:14 AM
I'd sooner eat pogs than Smarties.

... You know, if you're going to do candy wars, you could at least have the dignity to use gummy bears.

Is it true they don't have Smarties in the States?

Sadly, no, we too are cursed with that bastard confection.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:15 AM
Those are good too, but I must inquire into this thing you call "dignity".

EDIT: How could anyone not like those little pieces of pure sugary adrenaline! Yeesh, you people don't know what good candy is.

Pretty Mary K
06-19-2004, 03:17 AM
Smarties are like a lamer, stinkier M & M.

Smarties are M & Ms' unattractive cousin.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:19 AM
How can you compare M&M's, mear chocalate with and unsubstantile candy coating, to these sugary warriors? And they don't stink.

Pretty Mary K
06-19-2004, 03:20 AM
But they do.

Stink of inadequacy. I'll take M & Ms, thanks.

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 03:21 AM
They're like the candy that melts in your hand without the chocolate that melts in your mouth!

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:24 AM
Bah.

M&Ms are undermined by the fact that they run out way to fast, same with Twix. Smarties now, Smarties can be bought in these huge plastic bags full of candy goodness at the local Walmart. There is no way for you to work your way around this one.

EDIT: fithfiend, your post reminded me. Both of your candies melt. Mine dosen't. Nah, Nah, Nah, Naaah.

Fifthfiend

Fun-size Twix comes in 2 lbs. bags.

----------

You know what's good? Is Dum-Dums. Tasty, and you can take them out of your mouth and gesture wildly with them during conversations.

Pretty Mary K
06-19-2004, 03:26 AM
Twice the goodness in half the fattening, sugary bites. It's win-win (whatever that means).

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:28 AM
Say what?

And Dum-dums are indeed good. Their in my top 10 list (with Smarties at the top, of course)

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 03:30 AM
Say what?

I think that was the Say What of rhetorical defeat!

And the day belongs to Twix!

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:32 AM
Not quite. I just didn't understand what her post was saying. Still don't. It is getting late afterall.

Pretty Mary K
06-19-2004, 03:35 AM
This means I win.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:38 AM
Bullcrap. I have dechiphered(sp?) your post, and have found that it only cancels out one of my arguments. You still have to deal with the fact that Smarties make you smarter, and a few others I'm to lazy to type.

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 03:40 AM
Laziness? Oh no, adversary, I think it's something else you're feeling... and that is capitulation.

Victoly!

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:44 AM
You still refuse to counter my arguments, all the while claiming victory. You know what that tells me? You've run out of your own arguments! You have lost, and to cover this, you claim victory!?
YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!

EDIT: You also claim victory with bad grammar. Victoly?

Pretty Mary K

A winner is Twix, justice, and the American way.

Good night, everybody!

I just want to say that this is the funnest argument ever.

Good night, everybody!

That was secretly a pass at me.

Oh, strange internet personality, take me now.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 03:48 AM
Yes, fifthfiend, yes it is.

I must now go into blissful sleep as well. GOODNIGHT!!

EDIT: Ah, screw it. I might as well stay up. Nothing to do tomorrow anyway.

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 03:51 AM
That was secretly a pass at me.

Sure, walk in halfway through and then act like it's all about you.

I did it all for the love of Twix!

...

Unless of course it worked, in which case go right ahead and disregard the above.

Women always think the universe revolves around them, don't they? (Don't kill me PMK, please?)

Pretty Mary K
06-19-2004, 04:15 AM
I wouldn't say the universe revolves around me, because that would imply some unflattering things about my weight, but yes, I am a huge ego-maniac. Wait, no, not huge. I'm not huge, shut up.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 04:19 AM
Ok then, you think the universe revolves around your huge ego. Which is contained in a slender, curvy body. (Ooh, I'm layin' on the charm! ;) , well, not really, shut up)

You all know nothing! The best company that produces candy is GuyLian! Their candy is the best from Belgium! Their really expensive, that means they must be good. Look at their site http://guylian-choc.com/ I wonder if they export them too America. Twix and other candies can't even come close to these!

Pretty Mary K
06-19-2004, 04:44 AM
Bah, not white trash enough. You are lose.

Fifthfiend
06-19-2004, 04:55 AM
1. Do these Belgian candies contain caramel and cookie crunch? I don't think so.

2. No company that relies on Eurotrash models to hawk its wares can possibly be deserving of consideration.

I rest my case.

PS: Go to bed!

06-19-2004, 05:12 AM
Why should I go to bed atone o'clock PM! Bedides, have you tried them? It's true, twix is good, and so are M&M's. Smarties were crappy. They tasted bland.

fifthfiend, you have made me laugh until tears came out from this thread. Well done man, well done.

That being said...caramel or peanut butter twix? Or both? Decisions, man!

However the one thing about twix is you can't dare your friends to snort it without considerable amounts of alcohol or bravado. Any two bit monkey can snort a smarty. But I guess it would make them less smart to do that.

Stabbitty Death
06-19-2004, 03:12 PM
Um, I like 100 grand and Snickers. I used to like Twix but I got tired of them (but they are still like 4 or 5 on my list). But nothing can even compare to the delight of the allmighty TURTLE!! :rmage: Dun dun dun!! If it weren't for the fact that they're more expensive than normal candy, I would have a huge box of them on my head attached to a tube that dispenses the chocolatey goodness everytime I breath!

Oh, and Smarties suxors my cluxorz.

A short midday nap can be very conducive to good health and productivity.

You are forgiven... but in the future, try to keep your Belgian indiscretions under control.

fifthfiend, you have made me laugh until tears came out from this thread. Well done man, well done.

Save the applause, throw the money.

peanut butter twix

There's no call for that kind of language around here.

Some people just have no sense of decency anymore, I swear.

Best. Argument. Ever.

Further, Twix beats the shit out of both smarties and starburst with one hand tied behind it's back, and use of only one leg, while dancing to the hokey pokey. Not that I don't like smarties or starburst. I do rather enjoy smarties, in fact... but they are nothing compared to a Twix bar.

Which is nothing compared to giant pixie stix. Great for whenever you need a sugar rush. I swear to god, one year my blood tasted like candy because I used to go to the movie theater at LEAST once a week with my girlfriend and I'd buy about four-six two foot by 2 inch tubes of pixie dust (or whatever you'd call the stuff in pixie stix)... and shoot them all down, followed by soda. Or I'd flavor my soda with them.

But... then again... twix DO have the advantage of chocolate...

Ahh, screw it. Just give me both and call me fatty.

I like Sarburst, because they are individually wrapped you can spread them out over time, and they are still chewy, which is good. Jolly Ranchers are the best, because they last so long and are low in calories while being high in flavor. Every now and again I will eat some Reeses peanut butter cups, but I always have to work out afterwars or I feel bad, almost dirty really.

MasterOfMagic
06-19-2004, 07:58 PM
Pix stix always get stopped up b/c of spit mixing with the pix. No matter what. It doesn't matter if your mouth is as dry as the Sahara desert, it still happens. Their still good though.

You people have no taste in candy. I can understand twix, I'll admit that it is hard to argue against such an awesome hunger quencher, (No, I haven't given in fithfeind. Smarties are still better) but Belgium chocalates?! I'm sorry, no. Too....expensive. If buying the candy breaks my wallet, it ruins my enjoyment.

I don't like Jolly Ranchers because they always seem to leave my mouth all cut up. When eating candy is a painfull experience I tend to not like it.

Actually, the giant ones have 2 inch openings, which are too big to be stopped up without your trying, and the containers are plastic instead of paper, so they don't get wet and squeeze together.

Also, if you eat them RIGHT there is no stopping. You rip the end off, hold it an inch or so above your mouth, and pour it in. No saliva touches it.

I am extremely experienced in the way of the pixi stix.

The only candies worth eating are made of ashes and humidity (http://www.bad-candy.com/candies/chamoy/), tamarind (http://www.bad-candy.com/candies/tamarind/), or just salt (http://www.bad-candy.com/candies/saltidos/).

You make me laugh all day long with you argument with all this my candy is better, it sounds like some kind of little kid thing to do. But then again we are all kids in side so I’m going to say smarties are one of the best. And I must say Twix SUCK……………. I don’t mean anything by it so don’t take it as if I’m some kind of evil sadistic American who’s only wish is to take over the world. So now I lol with pleasure.

I believe all of you are forgetting a special treat known as LIK-M-AID. Thats right, LIK-M-AID. Its pixie dust with an edible hard sugar spoon-thingy. And 3 different flavors of sugary goodness.

Ride the AID.

MasterOfMagic

Finally, someone with some brains! SMARTIES RULE ALL!!!!1!!!1!!

LIK-M-AID is good to, except I always end up spilling the pixie dust.

And Mr. Wind-up bird, I only clicked on the salt link, all I can say is: 398% sodium? How did they survive?
