I was just reading some replies to some of the threads I've posted, and found that the responses I got were interesting. Most notably, responses to some of my better posts.
Like this one. (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showpost.php?p=150635&postcount=16)
And this one. (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showpost.php?p=150704&postcount=4)
Then I remembered Otaku recommended it
And I got to thinking, "Wow, I really stirred some stuff up. I'm on a roll tonight." And then the idea for this thread popped into my head.
When are you guys at your best? And what do you do best when you're in that condition?
I'm usually at my best at nights and on rainy days(ironically, it's a rainy night). As for hat I can do, I usually find myself stumbling across some rare files on the 'Net, or making a lot of headway on some project I'm working on, or just other random things that I usually don't do so well at(such as making posts that stir things up).
So, post away!

I aparantly excel at saying the wrong thing and pissing people off or looking like a jackass. All without meaning too. I've made a girl cry today and seriously pissed off my mom tonite, I'm on a roll too Otaku...

i usually am on a roll on most sundays. that because sunday is the ONLY day me and all my friends get off of work. its is a day of partying down and scaring old ladys... what?
p.s. by scaring i mean emotionally

I'm at my artistic best when I'm the least happy (I call loneliness my muse). I'm at my mental best somewhere around 11:30.

I'm at my best when the fickle lady inspiration strikes me about my vital regions repeatedly with ephemeral yet blunt objects. What I mean to say is that my best never occurs in response to any stimulus, internal or external, it just sort of creeps up on me. It never lasts either, I eventually peter out to meer averageness given enough time.
Although I do achieve a kind of transcendent idiocy when exposed to massive amounts of tequila, but who doesn't really?
ah, my torturous mistress tequila, how you hasten my demise...

I'm at my best when ever I have something loud to focus on, mostly some good music turned up really loud. Then I can do everything better but I'm best at solving problems. I've been known to do 2 hours worth of homework in about 30 minutes under the influence of some good music.

I'm at my best either late at night or when I'm home alone while playing some Black Mage songs or overclocked remixes at the max vol.

I don't think I have a 'best'. That's really sad, come to think about it, heh.

Depends...I'm better at different things at different points. For example, I'm good at writting fantasy (dark fantasy) when I'm happy and content...I'm better at horror when deepley depressed.

I'm usually at my best while doing stuff at scout camps. I mean like when I'm cutting trees or something like that. Then at other stuff I'm good whenever I really put everything on the thing I'm doing and consentrate.

Well, I'm at my musical best when not playing alone. But my musical best isn't much (I was only 13th in Virginia at all-state auditions! I suck!)
My normal best is, bizarrely enough, achieved when I'm alone.

I almost forgott musically. Musically I'm at my best (wich isn't much) when I sing along as I play.

I'm at my musical best after a few pints of guinness, at least as far as I'm concerned, a sentiment my fellow bar patrons don't often agree with. :)

I'm at my best only after I've had my coffee.

Like Rai, I don't really have a best. For me it's tired and less tired.

I'm at my creative best when I'm in my room and everything's quiet (which usually means everyone else is out of the house). Can't concentrate with any noise. I have to take my clock out of my room because of the ticking.

I'm at my best when I don't have a lot of things on my mind. Like recently, I've had to worry about college, moving twice, and multiple other things. My posts have been pretty bland.

I'm usually at my best after 5 or 6. For the past year, it's been after phone conversations or things of the like, with someone I'll not specifically mention...It just calms me and stops my damn left brain from computing, kinda takes things off my shoulders from the day 'n shit. IT is then that I can create.

I'm at my physical best after I've slept for a ridiculous amount of time and I haven't done anything physical for two days.

Artisticly- While listening to an inspiring song (usually kind of related to what I am drawing... or at least it effects what I am drawing.)
Physically- Marching band: When I have gotten a good nights sleep and have just gotten a pep-talk and a water break. (yes pep talks do work sometimes) And after doing our "Eyes: with pride" thingy. Dance: When I have just performed a hard step, or when my shoes are making good sounds that night. Or when I'm performing for friends. Regular physical activity: when with friends or when hyper.
Writing- After watching a good movie, or reading a really good book.
Musical- During a solo, or at a really cool part to the music, Usually when I'm not playing in a room by myself. I like hearing all of the other things.
Mood- I'm usually in a good mood, unless I get in a fight with someone or do/go somewhere less than enjoyable.
(most of mine are mental things. ^^ )
I'm at my best when ...actually i'm never at my best...the only day i was probably my best was when i played steel pan for our president ..at the time
Im at my best sitting on a log next to a roaring fire, then I start telling a story. Now most people tell horor stories when they are around the camp fire at night, but I tell fantasy stories.

Horror stories are old you see. So fantasy or real life stories are better.
More on topic, from my part. I'm at my 'best' mood after having a talk with someone I know. I mean now for example when I'm walking the dog and I meet someone and have a conversation. That always makes me happy, and I actually leave always with a big simle singing the rest of the walk.

I'm at my best when people slip and say something they may or may not have meant to say, something inexplicably stupid that I can just tear into. I'm kind of a mean spiteful person that way.
I don't know about mood or any of that, but I always say "I'll do my best" when it's my last match with a guy at the arcade.
Felt like I should say that.
