Not much to say... I came across this on newgrounds and it's rather (ra-ther!) funny. Just a little lookout on how things might be in 60 years if the current trends continue. Check out... (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/158631)
... and discuss.

I could swear this has been posted in here already a while ago.
Anyways, yeah, very funny. Everyone keep in mind the creator's warning: they're actually very fond of these popular games and this is just comedy. Please don't get needlessly offended.

It is indeed a great flash video. I laughed at every spoof clip. My favorite game box was The Legend of Zelda: The Lampshade of no Real Significance, what was your favorite?

The Final Fantasy box that went on forever, lol.

I'm actually positive that someone has posted this already (not that I actually remember it, but how could they not on *this* forum), but I searched the forum, found nothing and thought, what the heck. Good for laughs in any case.
Looking at the recent developments, the "too much RPG stat building" complaints about Tomb Raider might have been better applied to GTA. Omitting the part about the boobs, that is.
My personal favourite funny parts were the FF box, the "Mario sets the VCR" box and the ending.

I was the one who made the post of that flash the day it came out on Flash Player.
Funny funny funny.

Meister: Well, we don't really know that yet. :P The stat-building-ish element of the new GTA COULD end up being a good thing. Time will tell. ;)
When it was first posted, it was pretty stupid.
And it still is.

It was a pretty good flash. My favorite was Ghetto Party 5.

I didn't think that it was laugh out loud funny. But what amused me was how true it really was. I can actually see this happening in the future if video games continue in the direction they are going.
Also, would this be considered satire, or parody or what? I wanted to refer to the type of humor they used, but I'm stupid and didn't want to use the words incorectly.

Yeah I didn't really laugh out loud, it was just more amusing to watch because of how true it is. The Zelda series one was good, every single Zelda is just like that. Yet it is one of my favorite series' and I play them all. Hrm.
