Ok There have been a few threads now about kids shows from the past that you fondly remember. But what about the ones that you've seen now or realized where just crap on a stick?
I got a few. This will crucify me, but is true. The Original Teenage Muntant Ninja turtles show was horrid past the first season. The Shredder and Krang were horrible villians. Infact any villian from that show or even error were just jokes. It was the age of the too cool for school hero, with wise cracks. A wisecracking hero is good but not always.
The Shredder was like Cobra Commander and Skeletor combined but 3x a loser.
I like Equal footing villian, sure they lost all the time but Megatron was damn menacing. As was Skeletor initially.
I didn't realize how bad the old series was until I saw the new series which is light years better.
Perhaps the Worst Cartoon show ever was the Super Friends. Just simplistic Politically correct trash.
Ren and Stimpy had moments, but for me they were few and far between.
Scooby Doo is horrible. The series form the 60s 70s or whaterever. Its only slightly better than the new Scooby Doo which had the demonic Scrappy doo.
The Pup Named Scooby Doo is the third member of this trilogy from hell.
I cut the Scooby Doo movies slack because of the guests.
Who were the Street Sharks trying to fool? And on that Note the same people as the Biker Mice from Mars. These where just garbage.

Not to mention the Mighty Ducks series. They're aliens, from a planet that uses hockey as religion.
Something I remember being on Cartoon Network when the network premiered was the Godzilla show. God, that sucked.

I remember the Legend of Zelda cartoon being really cool, so I bought it when it was released to dvd. Never watch that. It will kill any love for Zelda you once had. The only good thing about it, was the cheezy 8-bit sounds taken directly from the game.

Anything I watched before school street sharks, beetlejuice, anything that fit a 6 A.M. weekday morning slot.
Captain planet must die, I couldn't even watch it as a kid.

Denver the Last Dinasaur.
Rosanne. Or something ... it was a cartoon about Rosanne Barr. When she was younger ... she was still fat, by the way.
James Bond Jr. "It's Bond! James Bond! Jr.!" *shudders*
Visionaries.
Puttnam's Prarie Emporium.
That show about the rock stars that turned into giant troll doll things ... fought crime ... made my head bleed through my eyes ...

Let's go farther back then that, to our parents time, did you see what happened to astro boy? I read the very first american comic cause my dad has it, watched the show on cartoonnetwork and almost puked on myself. It was completely different, it killed the show!
Thundercats was great when I was young. I used to love Tigra. Then a few years passed without it, then it came back on. Again I almost puked.
Does anyone remember rebot? the storyline wasn't all that great, but the theme and some of the stuff that happened was funny. I think it was the last episode, where they did a pun to Sailor moon and the SM....thing was squashed and the others were looking around pretending it didn't happen.
I used to love the Super Marios Brothers Cartoon, but it was so long ago and I didn't see to many, that I forgot about it.
A Pup named Scooby doo was ok...but they didn't make enough episodes. I could repeat all the lines verbaitum...
I like Tiny Toon Adventures..in fact I'm watching it right now. I Barely ever see the same episode twice. But I don't mind it's still funny non-the-less.

I've seen the Toxic Avenger movie and I seriously question why someone decided it would make a good children's show. Troma movies != quality children's programing.
Also, there was an MC Hammer TV show. He had shoes that talked and gave him magic powers.

most that you mentioned I liked. Of course when I was young my veiwing time was right before and after school. Also I had trouble knowing when shows were on so it was hit or miss. I mainly watched those shows because of lack of options and it doesn't take much to entertain a 8 year old (PS I missed the Barney era by about a year so I had some standerds). But a few shows I refused to watch. Keep in mind that there are most likely others but thanks to repressed memories I cant remember how horrible they are. Only ones I can really recall are Ren n Stimpy and Bevis and Butthead. My mom would let us watch it but frankly I didn't want to. It was one of those shows little kids watched because it made them think they were more adult. It was just too stupid.
Oh and I am not including little kid shows because I was too old for them when they came out and am Biast

G.I. Joe was horrible.
When TMNT moved to CBS or whatever and they really stopped fighting and put morals into it, it got bad.
Captain Planet was so bad it was kind of funny, but not really.
And it's not really fair to look back now and say that they were so ridiculously bad because you're so much older. They're made for children, so they're really very simple and whatnot. I responded to this with memories from when I was younger. I remember thinking those shows were horrible then.

"Hi, I'm Ren and I have a broken Sword! My dad gave me this sword, which got broke while he was fighting an Orge who attacked and killed him. So I use it all the time as my weapon and I go around fighting Orcs who sail around on ships. Oh, except I don't do any fighting because I HAVE A BROKEN SWORD! I let all my 'friends' do the fighting as I command them to do stuff, eventhough I know nothing of the world I live in and am USING A BROKEN SWORD! Why hasn't the eighties Hulk cartoon been mentioned yet? I think the entire series together had maybe one single frame of animation. This isn't even mentioning that the Hulk was apparently capable of flight, as he hung in the air for about ten full seconds while saying goodbye to the Avengers before slowly hovering away. Then there was the theme song. What in god's name were they thinking with that little jingle? Was it supposed to make viewers collapse in a fit of giggling?
I still watch it for pure comedy value, but only with friends.

Flintstone Kids, every Scooby Doo series ever, M.A.S.K. (ignoring the toys, which fucking rocked)...most of the other ones I hated have been mentioned already. I would've mentioned Tiny Toons, but they had an episode featuring music from They Might Be Giants, so they win.
There were some diamonds in the rough, but most of those got cancelled since those in charge have no taste in cartoons. Freakazoid, The Twisted World of Felix (really random and messed up considering how old the character is), animaniacs, etc.

Alot of shows that have been mentioned, I liked, but alot more I hated...
But there was one that won't leave my memory, because it was so bad... Tears come to my eyes when I remember it... Richie Rich...
It's aim was simple: "All problems can be solved when you have enough money!" Bleh, it was worst than when the TMNT kept going into space, an idea which they (stupidly) stole from Josie and the Pussycats...
It also seemed slightly Communist, but that's a whole different topic/thesis paper on the attempts of old TV shows brainwashing America's youth...

I think I am a little bit older than the average person here, but let's see what I remember:
ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES. I don't even remember the plot of this show. All I remember is a tomato that would jump up and crush cars. If I remember correctly, there was a video game.
Thundercats. (http://www.ebaumsworld.com/thundercats.html) (CAUTION: Strong Language!!)
He-Man. The original cartoon was not only corny and homo-erotic, it didn't make much sense. Adam (I think that's his name) would hop behind a bush and summon the power of Grey Skull. A huge lightning bolt would come down and make him He-Man. Then at the end of the show, they used this dialogue every time.
"Gee Adam, you missed He-Man again."
"Oh Drat. Maybe next time." (Wink at the camera)
Tailspin I wanted to cloud surf more than anything on earth. Now, I know that cloud surfing would mean certain death. Even if you could do it, how the hell would you get back in the plane?
Transformers (Don't hate me for this). "Megatron is stealing the world's energy source which is in the form of a microchip."
"What? That doesn't exist. That doesn't even make sense."
"Oh." On a side note, I think College University (http://www.collegeuniv.com/html/) has Optimus Prime's character down perfectly.
GI Joe the Movie Cobra's dreaded weapon was the BET. Need I say more.
James Bond Jr. Can someone please find the theme song? Nothing can so poignantly display the crappiness of the show as the song.
The Littlest Pet Shop I never wanted to baby-sit ever again after wasting an hour of my life on that thing.
Captain Planet Am I the only one who thinks that the planeteers are eco-terrorists?
Tom and Jerry Tom and Jerry just suck. They aren't funny. They aren't clever, and it's the same thing over and over again. How can a 1-ounce mouse over power a fully grown cat? I saw one episode where Jerry and a baby-mouse were Musketeers, and they got Tom beheaded!! They see the guillotine go down, and one says to the other in French, "Poor Poor Pussycat. Oh Well!"
Eeek the cat was good, but the Terrible Thunderlizards and Klutter ruined the show.
Also, Nickelodeon had terrible girly shows that I loved. I remember one show had two magical koalas that could only communicate with this one girl. The show ended with the koalas using two magical crystals to stop some evil.
That's about it. A special thanks to Acolyte for helping me compile this list.

Anyone remember Pepe le Pew? (or however you spell it) I believe Dave Chappelle, in his standup, offers the best review of that bizarre little old cartoon:
"I was with my nephew, and we were sitting there watching Pepe le Pew, and I said to my nephew, 'Now pay attention to this guy cuz he's funny, I used to watch him when I was little.' And we watched the Pepe le Pew, and I'm like, 'Good God, what kinda fuckin' rapist is this guy? Take it easy fella!' Perhaps you people have forgotten the Smurfs. I hated the show personally, but I felt sorry for it because it was taken off of T.V. by a certain religious group (which I refuse to name out of courtesy) ..... Anyway, the way they talked was so annoying.
Smurf #1: "I'm smurfing smurf, I need to go to the smurf and buy some smurf."

From my youth (which I'm kinda still vaguely in, but you know) the worst one for me has to be Ed, Edd and Eddy. I had (and sometimes still have to) suffer it every time my brother (who's 4 years younger than me) took control of the remote. It's god awful. 3. Some old show called silverhawks or something like that-It was like Thundercats in space. "Hey we can't shoot our "lasers" past the light year limit our we'll get our fucking brains blown out"
4) GOD I HATE SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!11!!! Never have I ever seen any referance to chilly cheese dogs in any of the games...ever! It's like crack to him!
5)Jabber Jaw. How the blu hell is a talking shark able to live on dry land? And what's more, why are they all underwater? It was like Josie and the Pussy cats minus the scantily clad women. (Yes I watched these shows when I was older due to my sad cable depraved childhood.) :(

The original "Power Rangers" were japanese, and they were called "Flashman", and the names changed every year to things like "Maskman" and "Bioman". Those shows ROCKED!! Instead of "Putties" they were "Ant People" and I had all of the toys. It royally sucked when they brought it to America.
FYI, the smurfs and silverhawks were awesome! So were the classic chip and dale that they won't show on tv anymore like the christmas special b/c donald pulls a gun on them in one scene.

The Donkey Kong one wasn't too bad. Some elements in the episodes I can safely say sucked but overall it wasn't too bad.

I stand my Anti-Smurf thing. What are the Silverhawks? I've never heard of that.
I missed the Christmas one and I don't know why they won't show it again. On some channels they show classic Bugs Bunny episodes where Elmer Fudd constantly shoots with a rifle but I don't know why they can't show a gun.

ugh the more i think about it the more i wonder about how fucked up my childhood got due to cartoons.
why hasn't anyone mentioned captain nintendo yet? man what a cheap crapfest that was. Some kid was playing video games after doing some shrooms and all of a sudden he gets sucked into his tv. Apparently his dog was getting in on the action because it jumped in after him! How about the crappy characters? Simon Belmont... you'd think that someone who fights vampires and at one point was nearly possessed by one would be a little more... dour? Or how about the incredibly annoying speech of kid icarus, attaching -ificus after everything he says.
Frikken A, captain planet... how much pinko enviro commie crap was that show? the fact that he had a mullet was bad enough. I rooted for the bad guys in that show.
In retrospect to the amount of sublime communist propaganda injected into those shows, im surprised i never fled to the soviet union. The exception was the ambigiously gay Woody the Woodpecker, which is probably the cause of my relative tolerance of homosexuals.
speaking of fucked up childhoods, after watching legend of Zelda I used to dress up like him. Basically a super big green shirt with a big belt, and big boots, and a green holloween cap. I remember my dad laughing at how foolish I looked, and if i were in his shoes, i would have laughed at myself.
Sonic the Hedgehog had two different cartoons. One was so dark and serious I couldn't watch it, the other one was just stupid (like someone said, WTF is up with chili dogs?)
ugh, I hated the DnD show as a kid. That says something about it's crappiness.
if anyone puts the super mario bros. super show on their list i will hunt them down. That show was awesomely bad! Craptacular is the word i use, and man did I worship that show as a kid.

Wow. i think super mario bros was live action, too, right? i could never play one of those parts if i were an actor. i'd cry myself to sleep every night knowing i was a whore if i ever signed a contract into playing luigi.

The Silverhawks was some old 70's propaganda show about some fucks who can miraculously survive in a vacum, but lose the majority of their latent abilities after a certain limit. In the show they treat space like it has an atmosphere(i.e. if you run out of fuel, you plummet indefinetely...) but have the gall to actually have a little educational segment at the end of the show explaining that stars are hot...
