Honestly, I thought I was joking with that, what with the giant tongue-sticking emote and all, but I've been pissing a lot of people off lately, so whatever. Seriously, though, I'm pretty sure that I've gotten word about as far as it's going to go on this forum anyway, so for the past several months if not longer, most of my references have been mostly in jest. Like, even on my wiki page, which I haven't touched since like two weeks after the place was created, minus maybe one minor tweak a while back.

As a side note, who do you think tutored Mac in that particular system? I think I can pretty much recognize some of the hallmarks of it being used by this point, and barring having turned several of them off or having combined it with other software, it would be quite difficult to get that result by accident. Just an FYI.

I know it's been forever and a day since I did anything, but I started overhauling my sprite sheet (as well as working on Toshi's). Hopefully, the new version is going to be a bit cleaner. Also, the hair on my current sheet always bugged me, so I tried to do some fixing to avoid looking like an earless freak.

Here's a side-by-side comparison:

Basically, I've been fixing things with the lighting so that it comes from above, like with actual FF6 sprites. Before, I'd been doing it with the lighting from the left.

I've also started doing the same for everyone else. I happen to like these, though, animated for your convenience.

Mostly its just hard to see what his clothes are actually doing on his sprites (how they overlap, does he have a belt, ect) and not many of the markers matched his colors well

You know, Shyria, in terms of rotating in PDN, you can actually rotate it by numeric degree. I'll admit it doesn't keep the pixels well (you have a choice of either smooth or sharp, sharp keeping the pixels solid with no anti-aliasing), but it does give you a base to work with and clean up. That's what I tend to do.

Edit: I should be clearer. You can choose smooth or sharp when doing it manually. I'd need to check if it applies to rotation by degree.
