Like, out of all the Final Fantasy sprites, I think the closest in pose would be the FF3j Ninja, maybe Celes. One is 8-bit, the other has a cape that I'd need to work around and is female. In all technicality, Blue is a Locke base by way of using Mirai for reference purposes only. A lot of my positions are custom.

I don't pay close attention to what's custom or not; I just grab people's sprites and mangle them until I get poses I like.

Not to seem disrespectful of your efforts on the sheet. It's just that I'm more focused on the composition of the comic as a whole than spriting as an exercise in and of itself.

To make a long story short, this means I'm thinking of picking up that NPF Choose Your Own Adventure comic dealie I talked about a while ago. I'm pretty much going to be making it up as I go along, so don't expect any major earth-shattering plotlines, but I think it might turn out kinda fun. Are you people still interested in reading/being involved in this?

Word of warning, if you want your character to be in the comic, keep in mind that this would be a choose-your-own-adventure story, in which bad things happen when bad choices are made. So don't come whining to me if your character gets beat up because you guys voted to have him/her sucker-punch a yeti or something. :p

The site seems pretty neat. The variety of Next and Previous buttons gives some useful functionality.

For some reason I like the blue callender buttons better than the yellow books. Don't know why; they just appeal more to me. Although the books would probably go better with the orange/black checkered site logo.

Well, I'd be using them both. Two sets of navigational buttons, two ways of going through the archives (by storyline/artist or by original post date).

I'm not set on these particular icons though, so if anyone has suggestions, I'm eager to hear/see them.

Urgh. The new archive is pretty and all, but there are mistakes. And the last time I tried to fix something in the archive, I broke it.

Once you get more up, maybe we could start a thread and get all of us who care about these comics to look for errors and write reports. We could probably get everything squared away pretty quickly if everyone helps, right?

But, for now, the art sections are all kinds of borked.

Well, actually, all of the link do lead to the correct comics/art. It's just that when you have multiple images/posts uploaded for the same day, it displays all of them, no matter which post you click on. They show up alphabetically by file-name. Before they were all on the screen at the same time. I found an option that results in the (1)(2)(3) page button system you can see in the lower left corner of some comics. The problem is it still doesn't always load the right page. Plus, some comics which are multiple pages are affected, cutting off half or 2/3rds of the comic. And, of course, the thumbnails are completely off.

There's got to be a way to sort it all out the way we want it to work; I just haven't found it yet--or really, had the time to look. My knowledge of CSS is fuckin' vague at best, and everything I've done with the site so far has been guesswork.

WOW. Those look fantastic, Loyal! I love the shading and the textures!! The folds in the clothing and the scales on Flare in particular are amazing. And the Nexus pic looks like it must've taken forever; the trees and grass are so detailed.
