I had finished a small number of sprites of AB in a bikini, and was preparing to post in SOoO for review, but I'm having trouble accessing my crap on imageshack for hosting. Yeesh. There's gotta be some way around it. I just need to stop being lazy and get it working.

I'll update my comics this weekend. This I swear on the grave of a relative I've never met or heard about!

I'd been up and into my ar at 6:30am to help my grandfather with his garage sale and that lasted until midday, but I had to wait a half hour before I could catch up the sleep I missed from a late night, and laughing at your comic woke me up too much!

And don't use cyan color backrounds THEY BURN TEH EYES!. I also noticed the big wierd blotch of un-JPEGed color.
But like i said, good job. We pretty much all do these things when we begin.

Red Mage Black, I must echo the warnings against cyan backgrounds and the use of GIF. Also, if your panels have extremely large areas of nothing but background, crop them so it isn't quite so huge. The first panel could be 70% smaller that way. Other than that, it's a half-decent first comic (no worse than my first, anyway).

Well, since I'm fond of anime cliches, it'll feel pretty lightweight and easy to wield in the Goddess Assimilation's hands. And besides, these days, girls need a new role model for "woman who can wield the biggest friggin' weapon you've ever seen" since that pink haired girl from Tales of Symphonia.

The real problem stems from destroying her enemies while not hitting her friends. My personal vision of Goddess Assimilation is that of a whirling berserker, turning multiple powerful enemies into hearty meat chunks.

Thanks! Yep, it's really my first one. I'm just happy that I managed to avoid using cyan as a sky color like I did in my avatar. At the time, I had no idea that cyan was the root of all evil. Now I know the truth.

Google search for an image and add some noise and then Gaussian blur it in photoshop. This is a cheap way out and I don't do it often. I paint my own backgrounds, but I wasn't in the mood for that last night.

I've got the next comic writen up, but i'm having troulbe learning all the little tips and tricks that MT used to makes his comics look all spiffy, or more spiffy than mine at any rate. I'm consitering just writing them and having MT do all the immage work, or possibly just writing them out like short stories. If I pick option two, then i'd be starting from the begining and including MT's work in the series.

I was wondering which you guys prefered. Should I stick with the comic format, or novelize it?

Yeah, I do feel I kinda have to apologize for everyone who wasn't in it. But know it's only because I either ran out of room to put people, didn't know how to work you in, or you didn't have a pic on a camwhore's thread. Heh, there were a lot more people I could have tried to fit into panel six, but then I would have gone mad... that's the panel that took me 3 weeks as it is.

I also can't figure out why the lightsabers show up so poorly on this one when in comic one they were much more visable. Both times it was against a white background... I thought drawing an actual blade then rotoing over it would help, but for comic one I didn't, and it still turned out clearer. *shrug* ah well.

Well, technically speaking, does Qeeko even have a pic on the camwhores thread? I gathered that, like me, she prefers to keep her avatar's appearance.
Well, there's a story behind that one. I had been told she did have a picture up somewhere, so I planned out the comic accordingly. My original intent was to draw her much the same way I did BMG and put her in the avatar's clothes. Upon discovering there was no such picture (at least, not any more), I had to do some quick thinking and decided to just draw her in her own style. (It's damn hard, too! Took me almost three times as long to draw QQ as it did H4xM4g3.)

Anyways, with comic #2 out of the way, I plan on doing ones with more emphasis on plot and less on pseudo-realistic-style from now on. Which means I won't be sticking to a camwhore thread posters only mindset.

EDIT FOR BELOW: That would be the head of Darth Zeth (It makes me happy that I worked two decapitations into one comic; an' one with gore pourin' out!) He's only wearing the mask because he posted a picture with one. And yeah, that is a throwing star lodged in your arm. I'm not sure how in the hell you're still using it, but it probably has something to do with the fact that pirates are so awesome. (ie, the same way you apparently took his head off without a weapon...) Didja catch the letters on your hat?
EDIT-EDIT: Not to say that ninjas aren't awesome too. Just look at Viper... he's ready to kill with the power of cool alone.
