Unfortunately I have only seen bits and pieces of Galaxy Express 999.

I wanna see more though...I’ve just haven't got around to it yet.

I've managed to see the first two movies, and read four volumes of the second manga series.
Great story and art. I do suggest trying to find the subtitled editions, however.
