Gis' raging energy expired, as he was finally starting to feel an intesnse pain in his head from using it. He then noticed he was bleeding. He made a soft growl as he summoned some more shadows to stitch his flesh back together. He was still angry, but the ammount of pain he felt physically overwhelmed it. He shook his hand at James. "I...don't think that will be necessary. He may still be of some use to us. Just let me sit down really quick..." He said, collapsing backwards onto the ground, rubble and dust from many years rising up as he fell. He laid there with his eyes closed, but his pain was too great for him to drift into unconciouness. "Look around some... Make sure Morkeh doesn't move." He said, exhausted.

"Right", James's hands stoped glowing and he started scouting the area for anything in particular. Looking at the hidden wall was interesting enough.

OOC: Im going to be gone till Monday.

Ayden saw the group, all 7 of them. He couldn't tell who was who, but he could tell that 2 were lying down, 1 was kneeling, and the rest were standing. Everything was so blurry, but at closer inspection he could identify the individuals by their magic energy, as that was all he saw.

He flew down and greeted them, or tried to. He didn't realize they would see and hear him differently, too. Nobody truly "saw" him, they only saw the wind circle around a single point, like a sphere of faint wind. Well, if they noticed anything at all. When Ayden spoke, the wind just blew around harder, making noise. He wanted to find Bornik, because if this magic was reversable, he could find a way. The ones standing were obviously not him; they didn't have his type of magic. He inspected one laying against the rocks and thought,No... this is mental power... nothing spiritual about it... but the other one... his power is almost extinguished... He hovered right over Bornik's body. This is Bornik all right. His magic is weak, and its wierd. Its surrounding a much darker power.

Ayden realized it. Bornik was dead. Now there was little he could do lacking proper appearance and communication. He decided to find his way through the cracked wall. It was poorly constructed, only 4 or 5 inches thick. What made it, Ayden would never know, but on the other side was something very strange. There was a machine, or an engine at least. It was giving off a very strong power. This is the Icarus! I can use this to escape this damned Scar and find some help! Ayden thought. He tried to use it, but couldn't do anything.

ooc: I'll follow up with another post when the group notices the cracked wall and possibly knock it down. I'm gonna post how I plotted things to go in the discussion thread, so read that if you want.

OOC: I'm sorry, I've neglected my duties as a wacko villain/split personalitied hero.

IC: Morkeh stared angrily at the thing that infected his body. "I WILL BE RID OF YOU!" he shrieked, charging at it on the plains of his mind. Nobody noticed the wisp of black smoke that rose out of his ear, but they all noticed Morkeh shrieking. He jerked up and vigorously began apologizing for past sins, and explained the madness the best he could. Still, no one noticed the smoke that was thickening and growing off to the side until it was the size of a coin. Watching in horror, Morkeh saw his insanity take form. A young Drow priestess, scarcely more than vapor, glared at him. "We could have had it all, Morkeh. First you deny me as a wife, and send me to this damnable existence; then you cast me out of your body. You have not beaten me, Morkeh. I will own you and your precious world before you realize it." With that, the wisp slid her way out of the Scar, and...well, did something. "Well...That was the cheesiest threat I've heard in my life."

"Do you think we can trust him?", James looked at the others with a raised eyebrow, then to Morkeh,"Is this why you have been messing with us or do you do that anyway?"

Kaan stared at Morkeh for a while, as if she were reading his mind. She was attempting to decide on whether the smoke figure was a trick or if it was an actual being that had driven him mad. In the end she picked the latter, "Well, if we kill him now he can't be of any use to us in the future. I think we should spare his life, but just in case, I am going to leave him like that for now. We have to keep a closer watch on him." Then she turned to Gis. She knelt beside him, "here," she said kindly, and she used her power to lessen the pain he was feeling, which was not as easy as it sounds considering that he was in a lot of pain. When she finished she asked him, "Do you think you can stand?"

Gis shakily got to his feet, concentrating on keeping his balance, and nodded to Kaan. "Yeah. I'll be fine. Thanks for speeding up the recovery." He looked over at Morkeh. "Don't think I've forgiven you, but right now we have far more important things to think about. Now that you're aparently sane again, I'll expect your full help. We need to figure out exactly where this ship is that Ayden spoke of. Which reminds me- where the hell did he go off to?" Gis said, looking around for the wind user.

"Ayden, where did he go?", James looked around and didnt see him, "I thought all of us were busy deciding what to do about the fight you two were in, I hadnt noticed he disapeared", he looked around again,"And I think were still missing the other guy".
He looked at the wall he had helped uncover,"Should we do something about what this wall is part of?"

Ayden continued trying to work the machine. No dice. After a little while, he saw something that suprised him. His father came in, looking as human as anyone alive. "So your power is restored, i see."

Ayden was startled, "But how-"

"Don't think much of it. Hyude may be powerful, but he's also very busy. He just dispelled my form. He didn't have the focus to destroy me, I've got quite the magic protection around me. Anyway, I guess I should inform you of your situation. You were bred to be the ultimate wind mage for Hyude's army. Your mother was from a long line of powerful wind elementals, and even had a bit of wind spirit blood in her veins. Thats probably why you can transform into a wind spirit. Your father is the last Roc. He was taken from his body and given a human form. The two mated, either willingly or by force, and you were conceived. You and your powers were to be sealed until Hyude needed you. I managed to hide you from Hyude for long enough to keep you out of his influence, and... agh... get... out of here..." Solas's form disappeared once again, but this time Ayden wasn't worried.

I'm part Roc? Ayden thought in amazement. Maybe Kiras knows him. I'm sure the majestic dragons would know a Roc, assuming they are old enough... He was suddenly full of hope for the future. He had the most potential of any wind mage. Ayden knew that if he worked hard enough to master his abilities, he could play an important role in Hyude's destruction. Now he only had to tag along with the rest of the group, let them finish up their business, and destroy Hyude!

Gis walked over to the wall James was standing by and pressed his hand on it. "If I use any more magic, I might pull this body apart, so I'm going to need some help breaking this down." He said with little emotion in a slightly weakened voice. With that, he unsheathed his metal claws and began punching at the surface of the wall, small ammounts of stone and rocks coming down, the wall starting to lean in slightly from the point where he was punching it, but seeming to slow its regression into the cliff with each punch.

Morkeh turned toward the wall, grinned with the lunacy that usually led to attacks on him, and began punching as hard as he could, doing less damage than Gis, but a sizable amount nonetheless.

Kaan started forming small spheres of holy magic and throwing them at the wall, knowing that if she made them any larger she would cause debree to fall on the wounded forms of Gis and Morkeh. But because of their size, the magic did little more damage than Gis or Morkeh, but with all three of them pounding on it the wall was starting to break, it was leaning and groaning as if it couldn't take much more.

"Back up people", James requested," This should do something", A fireball grew in his hand, geting bigger as his eyes turned crimson, they moved and he let it go. It blew up with powerful force and made quite the diffrence.

After the last blast, the wall crumbled away. The smoke took a few seconds to clear, and a small cavity was revealed. There was a large ship with seating for 6 that looked as if it had just finished its first test flight, even if it wasn't too successful. The mythranium was as shiny as ever, and even the paint job was still intact. There were a few light scratches along bottom where it skidded to a stop, and a massive hole leading to the engine. If one were to insect the engine itself, he would notice that it didn't sustain too much damage. There were a few places slightly scraped here and there, and one sizable dent in the side which appeared to be the reason it didn't work.

At the back of the passenger area was an open hatch with a control panel that appeared to be still active. All of the buttons were melted together and unusable with the exception of a large red button in the upper left corner.

Gis his claws and stumbled forwards, grabbing onto the ship for support. "So, this is the ship Ayden was talking about." He mumbled to himself, pushing himself off of the ship's hull and inspecting it. "But, if its ghost is still flying about above the Scar, that means..." He trailed off as the stone floor began to cave in in a circular shape in the center of the floor. "What the-" Gis said, before the rock crumbled inwards. He walked over to the hole, noting that it was about eight feet in diameter and almost perfectly circular.

"Strange..." Gis said, picking up a stone off the ground and throwing it into the hole. It flew down a short distance, hitting the floor with a dull clunk. "Doesn't look too deep, but it'll probably be hard to get back out of it for everyone but Morkeh and I." He said, almost dejectedly. He turned around and looked at the ship again. He could see where a hatch might be, but he was unsure- it could just be there to hide something else that popped out, perhaps some kind of wind-harnessing mechanism. He looked across the pit at his companions. "So, it looks like we either try and figure out how this ship works, or go down into the hole. I'm impartial either way, just let me rest for a second..." Gis said as he sat down against the ship, closing his eyes and breathing heavily.

Morkeh walked into the cavity, turned, and saw the hole. Turning back to Gis, he, still only half sane from his infection, but recovering, grinned at the fact Gis left himself vulnerable to attack. Realizing himself, Morkeh tapped Gis on the shoulder, "Don't rest unless you're sure you're safe." Morkeh muttered. Turning back to the hole, Morkeh sat down with his legs dangling over the edge, and whistled to gauge the depth of the hole. "I'd guess about thirty or fourty feet deep. Want me to do some spelunking?"

Kaan laughed, "You do that Morkeh." She walked over to Gis once again. "I can fully heal that body if you want, but you would have to remain completely motionless for about an hour. Do we have the time for that?"

The sudden crumbling of the earth scared the crap out of Ayden. Due to the air inside the hole pressurizing, he was pulled in. He tried to fly out, or even just ride the wind, but nothing happened. He could barely hover. Thats when he remembered, wind whisper, the spell he used to have conversations in private, would come in handy. With the mere thought of it, the wind that rushed in slowly blew back out, and this time echoed with Ayden's voice, "Hey guys! Can you here me? I'm down here!"

James jumped at the vocie and pulled out his shotgun as fast as he could, falling on his ass and feeling like one when he noticed it was Ayden's.
He put away his shotgun, "Ayden? You there?"

Gis lifted his head at the sound of Ayden's voice. He placed a hand on the ship and eased himsef up. "Maybe later, I don't think now is a good time" He said to Kaan, getting a bit closer than he thought he was getting. I'm groggy... he thought, moving over to the edge of the pit. "Should we come down then, or can you get yourself back up?" He said loudly, swaying by the edge dangerously.

ooc: oops, I misread Ryu's previous post. I thought he said the ship fell in the hole. I'll edit my previous post so it doesn't contradict with anything.

bic: Ayden fell to the ground. What the... I can't fly... I guess there is more to being a elemental spirit than I thought... He thought, then responded to the two, "Yeah, I'm stuck down here. I'm out of magic, and doubt I can make it back up on my own. I'll need some help."
