Christmas (or other holidays!) Avatars

I don't know about the rest of you, but I do enjoy when people dress up their avatars for Christmas, or Chonukah, or Halloween or whatever holiday. I figured it would be ok, since there have been threads about avatars, to do something like that here.

I wanted to use this avatar (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/synkr0nized/synk100Av.jpg) for now, as it's what I'm using everywhere else, but it was too big for the filesize limitation -- I am currently being lazy and not converting it to smaller format. I'll get around to it. For now, I've got one I did for last year.

Edit -- I went ahead and compressed it to use it. I was using an older avatar (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/synkr0nized/LilithXmas.gif) as a place-holder.

That's a good idea. I just made a Druid sprite with a santa hat but that's also a good suggestion.

Last year, on other forums (in which I could use a large image size), I cropped from the skimpy-Santa outfit Asuka picture for my avatar (as I said above, I used Christmas lights Lilith-Rei here). Since then, I've used 100x100 on all forums, even if they allow large avatars. This year, one of my friends at clanBOB used the image I had used before for his Christmas avatar "to spite [me]." So, I had to "reply" with an original synkr0nized avatar -- this one makes use of Asuka in a much more Winter-esque outfit from a scan of her and Rei in Christmas-like clothes. It was the cover of a magazine as well as some other things.

Whew, that was long winded for no real reason.
I think I'll use the image you mentioned as my wallpaper once it's actually December.

I really like Druid's skeletal Santa list.
