Should White Mage join the Dark Side?

Now I know, we have one evil wizard in the group already. But what do you guys think of White Mage turning out to be the ultimate evil they'll have to fight? Preferably while she's in something skin tight and shiny?

I don't think so. She may be going through a faith crisis, but by the time we reach the end, I reckon she'll resolve it and become more powerfully dedicated to the side of good.

I'm going with RMS here. The chances that she'll join the dark side (permanently, anyway) are slim to none. She may go through a whole confused state in which she becomes convinced that the bad guys are good and vise versa, but she won't join them permanently.

I have a thought or two on this.

First, if she did become evil, she would probably do even better than Evil Princess Sara. Because if the 'innocent victim' can out-vile the Dark Warriors, the pious hammer-wielder is a cinch to win.

Second, taking from the fact that we now know what makes a Hadoken work, White Mage would be able to amass far greater Hadoken power than BM or any mage. It takes one embued with the power of good to handle a whole lotta love.

It's not likely to happen, though. Like Black Mage sharing his pie, it's not likely unless there are conditions to it.

A cat fight would be relatively easy for White Mage. Every time she gets herself hurt, she can heal. Sara has no such magic abilities and would soon falter for lack of strength.

Hrm...until the most recent episode, it seemed an honest possibility to me. Methinks would not be the ultimate evil...more of a "when controls go, they go hard" kinda thing...her beliefs are shattered, so she moves to the polar opposite of pure evil and perhaps a devotion to chaos, before slipping to a balance between deterministic good and chaotic evil. Which would be an awesome character, but not very funny.

Of course, White Mage really isn't a humorous character to begin with...she has to have someone else setting up the joke, as she's almost always the voice of reason that makes me, at least, cackle because she's so incredibly sane.

...But, in any case, I can't see the Sara-WM catfight happening. Just...isn't White Mage. :D Or horribly evil.

Personally, I thought the whole trying-to-get-the-Light-Warrior-to-visit-Sarda-The-Sage bits were funny. She had to put up signs, mention things 'discreetly', and eventually sent them there in a box. Amusing in my eye.

If by "floating around" you mean "Something I called aaages ago and hasn't been mentioned since" then yeah, there is.

I like the idea of White Mage going evil. Something that made me think she had the predisposition to turn evil (not BBEG evil, just evil) was when she blackmailed the dwarves into fixing the deathtrap. With what's been going on with BB dying, BM showing more depth than was even hinted at before, etc. I think it is quite possible that she'll go a little crazy, and turn evil. Maybe that's what the #434 comic was talking about?

You are confusing being amoral/evil to being a necrophiliac sicko.
Up to this point, All suggestions BM made where about fairly normal sex acts.

What you suggest, is just extremely creepy. The undead don't have a good background as sex slaves. They tend to drink the blood of their masters, or eat their flesh/brains.

Yeah, undead generally make bad sex slaves. Zombies have this problem with decomposing. Mummies are a little to wrapped up in other things. Skeletons... well nobody likes a sex slave who's all bones. The one possibility that'd work would be vampires. And then you have the whole blood drinking thing. Not all that appealing. Now, a Dominate Person spell, on the other hand...
