So... someone found a cool use for all those stupid things. I applaud them for this, especially since the thing actually looks cool, and I want it.

Note that it only took them 2 months to collect the 4000 or so discs used in its construction.

Hah, thats awesome. I once had like, 300 AOL cds. My friend worked at blockbuster, and he let us take the whole thing. We just had random fun with them. I think I still have some of them sitting around here somewhere.. I found a bunch outside when the snow melted last year, heh.

Dude, that's awesome! One question though....can anyone actually sit on it?

I'll bet you could if you're lightweight enough. I mean like around 200 pounds. You just can't have those Jerry Springer 900 pound guests.

Well, if you look through the pictures of the process they used to make it, they actually reinforced it properly (which it needed to be, CDs are flimsy), so yes, it can be sat in. You can see them doing so in some of the pictures.

I think i like thier idea for Half-a-Puppy more, but the chair thingy is good, too.

since when is 200 pounds lightweight? i'm just 132, but i don't think of myself as "lightweight". you people make me feel like a twig...

*goes off to eat more and get up to AB's standard of "lightweight"*

ONTOPIC:
whoever made that chair has a lot of time on their hands. They should do something more productive, like, join npf and participate in every single rp that they see.

Well, okay. I would think of lightweight as being 170 lbs, which I need to get back to. I was 6' 4" at that weight, too, so you know that I could crawl through a Fruit Loop.

Ah, the many ways one can dispose of their AOL CDs.

That looks rather cool. And it's the only useful thing to do with that crap.

I'm gonna make a collection, wrap them in foil, and microwave them.

Microwaving CD's are so cool to watch. Same with that AOL Throne, I want one.

If this site actually started selling AoL thrones for $100 or so, how many of us would buy them? I might...if they didn't have the instructions to it right there!

Just how much money does AoL waste each year on CD's anyway?

I would think it would sell for more than $100.

I always preferred using them for shooting skeet. ;)

Still, this throne is incredibly cool. I, too, want one...for much the same reason as a demonic overlord would make a throne from the skulls of his enemies.

Anyways, Thats pretty cool. I used to get thousands of these in the mail. I no longer do.(guess they gave up)

I have alot of time on my hands. I might try and make one of these.

P.S. I probably wont because im to lazy. But I can say it!!

If I had the time, the tools, and half a shit to give, I might bother trying to fashion some AOL CD's into makeshift chakram.

I would prefer an AOL CD bed...but that is still a funny thing to see.
