On the basis of wanting to broaden my horizons with webcomics, tell me what your favorite webcomics are, and a little bit about them, without giving too much away. ^_^

Obviously, I've already got 8-bit under my belt, so no need to put that down, though we all know it's a good one. :P

So, other than that, what webcomics out there are good ones?

Only gonna link one, most of my other favourites have alreayd been covered and I don't want to give the impression this compares to anything else:

Jack (http://www.pholph.com) has furries, blood, sex and really nasty things on virtually every page, but it's Incridible if you like pure undilluted drama. No other work of fiction has made me cry so much.

Dub This! is a very good webcomic because it has obsessed anime fans like myself in it. it is very funny.
Sluggy Freelance is also very good, and it's one of the more popular ones I think. it's somewhat hard to explain but trust me on this. The only problem with it is if you want to start reading it you have to have a lot of time on your hands because it has been updating every day for the last four or five years.
Well that's all I'm going to say.

Bob and George (www.bobandgeorge.com)

VG Cats (www.vg-cats.com)

Pokey the Penguin (www.yellow5.com/pokey) (Which happens to be the complete antithesis of 8-bit)

8-Bit, being the first I started following, is of course my fav. I also love Penny Arcade, VG Cats, Sinfest, Mac Hall and Ctrl+Alt+Del. But I think most people know them already, so I'm gonna talk about some lesser known strips I like.

Spermy (http://www.blame-society.com). The cutest lil' comic about, um, sperm. Yeah, I know that sounds like a pretty nasty plot, but it manages to be cute and pretty funny, somehow. There's ramdom spurts of continuity, but all in all most are stand alones.

Alien Loves Predator (http://alienlovespredator.com/index.php) . Pretty much what it sounds like. This one's a 'toy' comic, meaning they pose toys to make the strip. One of the better done toy comics at that. This strip actually makes commentary on living in NYC more than the fact that an Alien and Predator are friends. Your basic odd couple stuff that's good for a laugh, especially if you like either of the movie franchises.

Twisted Kaiju Theater (http://www.neomonsterisland.com/index.html) . And speaking of toy comics. One of the first, one of the best, TKT started the trend of toy comics, and especially Godzilla themed ones. Personally, TKT hasn't been as good over the last number of months, with a chuckle here and there, but the some of the first 400 strips, pure brilliance.

Neko the Kitty (http://nekothekitty.keenspace.com/) . Okay, so with a plug currently on the main page, I probably don't need to talk about Neko, but its one of may favs so I shall anyway. If you love cats, you'll love Neko the Kitty, if for nothing else than some of the simple truths about cats it illustrates. An erradict schedule (he's in college he can be forgiven) and a real story line have bogged down some of the laughs over the last couple months, but its still cute and just like TKT, the first 100 comics had some brilliant moments.

Candi (http://candi.keenspace.com/) . Not great, but cute. I mainly like Candi because it illustrates some annoying truths about art programs at colleges, as I have encountered some of the exact same stuff Candi runs into.

Ghastly's Ghastly Comic (http://www.ghastlycomic.com/) . .... I honestly don't know what to say about this one. Its definitely for adults. Its quite humorous, and totally fucked up. It'll make you go "wtf" just as much as make you laugh.

Anything on the Inksandwich Community (http://www.inksandwich.com). I'm biased cuz I'm a member, but Zeldacomic, Spelling the Vacuum, Staccato, and 6:35 in particular are really great comics, alot of laughter. There's also the Adventures of MegaMan and Link which rarely if ever misses an update, so it's consistant laughs.

Neko the Kitty is great fun, though I pissed everyone off on their forums cuz half the population there is friggin retarded, so while I respect Gar and his art/humor talents, I don't really respect his fans.

VgCats is great, and Captain Ramsoominamihamibaminamiair is a real cool guy.

Otherwise I suggest going into the middle/lower areas of the popular webcomics listings, alot of times you'll find something that you absolutely love that gets NO recognition whatsoever. I found... I can't remember the title at the moment, it was something about popular monsters of our time and their coexisting at different timeframes... something, I really can't remember, but it was amazingly done. I've been decently surprised overall.

I've got 2 new comics here.

First one is Suicide for Hire (http://suicideforhire.keenspace.com/). It tells of two high school kids and their buisiness of assisting people in their suicides. It's a sort-of buddy comic. Arc is usually a nervous reck, while Hunter is very careless and has a fond intrest of money and porn. Both characters actually are deep thinking which they use to justify and run their Kevorkian-like enterprize.

Next is DMFA (www.missmab). It centers around Mab, Dan, and their friends' misadventures in a largly Furcadia (Don't ask XP) based world. DMFA has a huge cast of cute characters, which the writer does not skimp out on. There are silly plot twists and flashbacks abound which keep things surprizingly fresh. The current plotline is just about to get very interesting, as we shall see a captured spy bieng Shonen-Ai'd to death.
BTW, if you like to read through archives, don't be put off by the early works. The overall quality of the strip dramatically improves over time.

This is the "What are your favorite webcomics" thread. Do you realize that you are the only one who has ever criticized someone else's taste in this entire thread? Which would normally be alright, but you give no reason whatsoever. Just "Pfft." What a shameful world. People like different things. If you are going to do that, at least explain your thought process.

Most of the webcomics I read have already been listed. White Ninja (http://www.whiteninjacomics.com/) will always hold a special place in my heart (I have a guest comic there too).

Well, I just spent the past 12 hours reading nothing but one comic. All 8 years worth. I am physically and emotionally drained. Also, I have no life, but that's a moot point.

Roomies / It's Walky (http://www.itswalky.com/d/19970908.html) is perhaps the most addictive comic I've read since EGS (http://www.elgoonishshive.com/). It starts out as a collage drama, that eventually becomes sci-fi drama. And a whole lot of action and death and angst in between.

I'm not sure yet if it's become my favorite comic, or if EGS still holds that position. I'll sleep on it, I guess. But what it does have over it is an ending. And a moving one at that.

EDIT: Okay, a few days later, and I've had time to disseminate the information overload that comes from reading 8 years of a daily comic in half a day. (Don't do it, by the way; it's bad for you.) But now that I can think straight, I have to say that this just may be my favorite webcomic ever now. And, as much as I wish it was still going, there's something very satisfying about a story that has a conclusion. Most webcomics I read these days either don't tell an overall story, or won't be over for years. So an ending was a nice change of pace. I'm starting to get rant-y, and that's bad for a "my favorites" thread, so I'ma stop. But seriously, I love this comic.

Here's my personal list of webcomics. 8-bit and Bob and George are a given so I will just go on to the others.

El Goonish Shive (http://www.elgoonishshive.com) - A fantastic and bizare comic beyond description. Features random transformations of gender and species. Complete with a transforming squirrel girl.
Updates: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

College Roomies from Hell!!! (http://www.crfh.net/) - The title more than adequetly describes the lives of three college roomates who deal with girls, school, mutations, evil geniuses, and Satan.
Updates: Monday-Friday

MegaTokyo (http://www.megatokyo.com) - Two gamers go to the E3 convention and end up stranded in Tokyo. How the hell does that happen? See for yourself.
Updates:Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Exerminatus Now (http://exterminatusnow.keenspace.com) - This bizzare comic shows a darker side to the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. This comic is about a group who fights insane cultists and evil daemons. Features a daemonic Chao.
Updates: Friday

RPG World (http://rpgworldcomic.com) - As you may have gathered from the title it's a world that takes place in an RPG game. RPG players will probably become very nostalgic of the many references and oddities of these games. Those who aren't RPG players will get a kick out of this fantastic comic too.
Updates: Wednesday, Friday

Ctrl+Alt+Del (http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/index.php) - A comic for any gamer. From hilarious video game references and advice to random "death by arrow" occurences.
Updates:Monday, Wednesday, Friday

VG Cats (http://www.vgcats.com) - A series of video game parodies performed by a pair of amusing cats, Leo and Aeris.
Updates: Mondays

PowerPuff Girls Doujin (http://bleedman.snafu-comics.com) - What do you get when you take charaters from such popular cartoons such as Powerpuff Girls, Invader Zim, Dexters Lab (and many more), put them all in a BRILLIANTLY done story, drawn in a BEUTIFULLY drawn, fully colored manga style comic, and throw in some kick-ass fighting? THIS!
Updates: Sundays

New World (http://www.tfsnewworld.com/index.php?Main=comic) - A Mage in a fantasy world, out of bordom, drags a dude out of a futuristic world and turns him into a fox girl. Funny and amusing story.
Updates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

San's Web Blast (http://www.micro-blue.net/san/)- A fairly new comic, but damned if it isn't fantastic. Fantastic art, bizarre humor, lot's of hot chicks, and one sweet but twisted little girl.

There are a few comics I really feel the need to mention

Pointless (http://pointless.keenspace.com) : I will not take away from this comic by a long amount of text, but will say this: this comic is awesome incarnate

White Hydra (http://www.whitehydra.com/) : The adventures of a sorceress, a barbarian librarian, and a lesbian elf. Set in a mostly fantasy setting, and my most favoritest comic evar! So go read it... NOW! It recently had it's 1 year anniversary

Mike's Stupid Comics! (http://mike.neongene.com/index.html) : Exactly what it sounds like -- only with more kickassedness, an evil shirt, and a guy named Gummy

Funny:
Attack of the Amazing Flying Spud (http://steampowered.net/) I love it. It is awesome. GO READ.

8-Bit Theatre is my obvious favorite, seeing as how I'm a member of the forums.

But with that aside, I liked RPG World, Dragon Tails, Misadventures etc., VG Cats, and CAD.

8BT of course, and I'm not just saying that. 8BT singlehandedly rekindled intrest in RPGs.

I also read Oh My Gods! (http://www.ohmygods.timerift.net); if you're a pagan you'll love it, and if you aren't there are some great general humor strips mixed in. Just hit Random, you'll get one eventually. FYI there is a bit of fundamentalist and Pope-related humor (the strip began about three years ago), nothing flat-out hateful but you may want to be careful to whom you show these particular strips to, because they may take the joke seriously.

I did read some of this comic called Escapeman, which was alright but I don't recommend it. Basically it's about a superhero who's power is escaping.

I also have my own webcomic, RPG the RPG, but it's not much to talk about but you may or may not like it. The site's in my bio if you wanna check it out. People do seem to like it, I dunno about 8BT fans though because of the people I've shown it only one has followed 8BT as much as I have.

1.Crash & Bass (http://www.fragile-minds.com/crashnbass)
This is the first sprite comic I ever read. Pretty much the story is that after megaman Defeats Crashman, Crash wants to become a crime fighter. Crash ends up saving Bass, and since bass owse his life to crash they both become crime fighting partners.

2.The Adventures of Link and Friends. (http://www.linkandfriends.com)
After the first zelda game, Bowser kidnaps Zelda. Link follows Bowser through a pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario helps Link rescue Zelda.

Well, I hope those entertain you for a while.

I read a lot of webcomics, most of them have already been mentioned here, so I've listed a selection of my favourites that I don't THINK have been mentioned yet in this thread (although I'm probably wrong as I'm a lazy skim-reader)

Jerkcity (www.jerkcity.com) - obscene, pointless, utterly without plot and almost entirely without characters. Contains maybe one (badly drawn) piece of original art per 500 episodes or so. Genius. Also has links to the writer's blog. Personally, bloggers piss me off, bu check it out if you're into that kind of thing.

Able and Baker (www.jimburgessdesign.com/comic) - The story of a chimp and a sheep, enlisted as lab animals for NASA. Able (the chimp) has a love of wordplay and taste for destructive mischief that infuriates his long-suffering sheep friend Baker and the secondary characters are a delightful mix of the realistic and the absurd. Check it out.

Der Dragon Warrior (www.oddwebsite.com/ddw.php) - Gaming parodies are ten a penny these days, especially those relating to RPGs, but this hand-drawn flash animation stands out from the rest. Also worth checking out the site's front page for host Zanno's intermittently comprehensibe rants.

Sexy Losers (www.sexylosers.com) - X-rated (seriously!) comic following the fortunes of such loveable characters as Mike the perpetual masturbator, Shiunji the necrophiliac, Chie Sakamachi the bukkake star, Rumiko Shibata the Horny Mom and many more. The storylines are great and some of the hand-drawn art is amazing but I feel I must warn you: do NOT read SL unless you positively enjoy sick and immoral humour!. SL strips include jokes/storylines about incest, necrophilia and other taboo subjects as well as images of full and partial nudity and various sexual acts, both straight and gay. If you're like me and you love that kind of sick crap, click the link, otherwise I'd stay away!

Dinosaur Comics (www.qwantz.com) - An interesting concept: each comic contains the same six identical frames, with different dialogue inserted. The fact taht, after over 2 years of almost daily updates the author manages to keep this format fresh and interesting is a testament to his skill as a writer. I believe I found this site through a link on these very boards.

Of those comics already mentioned in this thread, I'm a particular fan of Misfile (awesome concept, great characters and art) 8 Easy Bits (interesting twist on the sprite comic idea) White Ninja (absolute genius, enough said), VG Cats, Penny Arcade and of course 8BT.

Well I'd have to say that my favorites are probably PA, B&G, Real Life, VGcats, and alot of other ones that have been listed already.

But one of the lesser known ones I like seems to have just started up. Final Fantasy I-2:the sequal that doesn't suck (http://ffi-2.coconia.net/) It seems like another Final Fantasy comic with a few twists. I think people should check it out.

I didn't think it was appropriate to make a new thread for this, but I may also be largely off topic for this thread. If so, I will take no offense at this post being removed.

Dominic Deegan (http://www.dominic-deegan.com) is moving off of Keenspot. I don't know if this matters to anyone, but it should mean better quality service and reliability. The comic shouldn't suffer any downtime, as the process has already started without mishap.

I want to apologize in advance, as I do not have the presence of mind to go through 10 pages of posts to see if I know any comics others here might have missed. So I'll just give the ones I check regularly, since they're awesome.

Penny Arcade (www.penny-arcade.com)
Ctrl+Alt+Del (http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/)
8-Bit Theatre (http://www.nuklearpower.com/) (Natch)
VG Cats (http://www.vgcats.com/)
Slightly Damned (http://www.raizap.com/sdamned/index.htm) (amusing, in an American anime sort of way)
Abstract Gender (http://www.abstractgender.com/)
Misfile (http://www.misfile.com/index.php)
Building 12 (http://www.building12.net/)

The ones you need to make sure you read from the start to fully catch what's going on are those last 4, and of those, I'd say Misfile's the best. Definitely read that one from the start, if you're going to.

And for the adults in the audience, I've always found Sinfest (http://sinfest.net/index.htm)amusing.

And if you are willing to attempt to read the most offensive webcomic that I think has ever been created, head over to Morning Glory (http://www.mgcomics.net/). Be warned: I do not condone anyone that has any shred of moral sense left reading it. With that, I wash my hands of your reactions to it. :shifty:

I found it surprising that only one person has mentioned Kid Radd, the best sprite comic EVER! At least, it is the best in my opinion. Said person also misspelled the name and fogot to put up a link, so I will do that.

Kid Radd (http://www.kidradd.com/)

Kid Radd is an interesting comic, to say the least. It has a lot humor, but the main themes are wery serious. It basically starts with the main character in his game, and is basically just humor up until he gets "rescued" by escaped game characters from other games. Then the comic gets gradually more serious up until the very end. Now, this may sound like a matrix rip-off, but it really isn't. Oh, and you can also download the entire comic now, so thats a plus in my book. Almost forgot to say that a lot of the comic is animated, so don't go through the pages too fast.

Other than 8-bit and Kid Radd, I haven't really read many webcomics. Just got into VG Cats, though, and Twokinds looks kinda interesting.

Well, I read the obvious 8BT and VGCats, as well as some others mentioned here, ElGoonish Shive (http://www.egscomics.com/) and Exterminatus Now (http://exterminatusnow.comicgenesis.com/).

But going through all these pages, I'm gonna have to throw out this one, because it really needs a plug:

Fireball20XL (http://www.fireball20xl.com)

It's the capital website of a massive webcomic community/empire. The aforementioned Exterminatus Now could be categorized as part of it, seeing as the FB20XL webmaster (Psyguy) and the EN writer (Lothar Hex) are good friends. But I digress. Fireball20XL has a large number of great comics. Psyguy switches doing a large number of comics (he gets bored with them fast); his current comic is Replay Value (http://www.fireball20xl.com/rv/), which is...okay, I guess. The main comic page can be foundhere (http://www.fireball20xl.com/comics.php). Each comic is a good read, but if I were to reccomend any, I'd suggest:

1. Get Blue Spheres (http://www.fireball20xl.com/gbs/)
2. Chaos Diamonds 3 (http://cd3.fireball20xl.com/) which is a graphic novel
3. The Rogue's Gallery (http://trg.fireball20xl.com/), which is made up of five good comics
4. TTA (http://tta.fireball20xl.com/), which is actually a series of sprite cartoons, which is a combination of .hack and Megaman.EXE
5. Wha-Chow! (http://www.fireball20xl.com/wha-chow/), which is actually a Podcast, not a comic. (I suggest starting with 9, the rest are from about two or three years ago, give or take)

Also, be sure to check out the "Reruns" section, filled with good (albiet dead) comics. There's something for everyone there, so START READING. OR WATCHING. OR LISTENING. WHICHEVER.

Second, I'd like to plug In Wily's Defense (http://www.incomprehensibility.com/index.php), very hillarious, but is gonna end in six months (according to the author's estimation).

Crimson Dark - Completely CGI webcomic webcomic with photoshop touch-ups. It's superficially similar enough to Firefly (tv series) to draw you in, but after you read it for a while one realizes that it's completely different.

Schlock Mercenary - Great sci-fi webcomic with a good story, great characters, and a well-crafted universe to set it in. As a special bonus that I'm sure VGcats readers will appreciate, it has updated daily without a single absence, including a triple dose on Sunday, since January, 2000.

I have a dedicated webfolder just for webcomics, and the list is approximately 18" long.

I'm shocked to find that some of my favorites aren't actually listed in the thread. I'll just go through all of the comics I read, and add links and descriptions for those that haven't received mentions yet:
Achewood (http://www.achewood.com) - Probably my current favorite. The only bummer about it for the new reader is that you really need to go through the archive to understand all the characters. There isn't a plot to follow, so much, but a lot of the jokes at this point are based on knowing how the characters act. As this implies, the comic is kind of hard to keep up on, but if you like comedy with a lot of depth (Chris Onstad, the author of the comic, writes blogs for 10 of the characters in addition to making the comic), I highly recommend it.
Dr. McNinja (http://www.drmcninja.com) - Someone recently said this, but seriously, you need to read this comic.
Questionable Content
8-Bit Theater (duh)
Animals Have Problems Too (http://www.animalshaveproblemstoo.com) - As the name implies, every comic features an animal with a problem. These are always hilarious, and as they're one shot comics, they are easy to keep up on.
Diesel Sweeties (http://www.dieselsweeties.com) - A bizarre little comic about robots and really weird people. If you end up liking this comic, I'd recommend adding R. Stevens (the author) as a friend on LiveJournal...he posts some of the most insane things I've ever seen.
Pass-Fail Studios (http://www.passfailstudios.com) - Parodies of comic books. This one just started up, so it's still rough in spots, but it's pretty good.
XKCD (http://www.xkcd.com) - Lots of math and computer-related jokes. He gets a little bit emo sometimes, but forgive him for it.
Home On The Strange (http://www.homeonthestrange.com) - Written by The Weasel, a relatively well-known writer in the Magic: The Gathering community, it's another comic that focuses on nerds and nerdy things.
Bob And George - This has been said a bunch of times, but I'd like to specifically recommend the subcomic "Metroid: Third Derivative", because it's phenomenal.
San Antonio Rock City and Nothing Nice 2 Say (http://www.mitchclem.com) - Both written by Mitch Clem. These comics are mainly aimed towards people who know a lot about the punk/hardcore scene. Oh, he has another comic called Kittens, but I think it's stupid, because I don't like cats. Maybe some of you will like it.

That's the round up for me. And in case you're wondering, yes, it does take me a long time to keep up on all of my webcomics.

Needless to say I'm a big fan of 8-Bit Theater, and several other comics that have been listed previously: White Ninja, Order of the Stick, and VG Cats.

I'm also a fan of Overcompensating (http://www.overcompensating.com/), a semi-autobiographical webcomic about the author's (artist's?) life. I'm a little surprised it hasn't been mentioned already; it's delightfully hilarious!

For those of you who like H. P. Lovecraft and plain old silliness, I'd recommend UNSPEAKABLE VAULT (Of Doom) (http://www.macguff.fr/goomi/unspeakable/home.html).

I've recently started following a new webcomic called Pop-up Tophat (http://www.popuptophat.com/index.html). It's got the same sort of surreal and absurdist flavor as White Ninja, but it's not as strong. The lay-out of the site and the content of the comic makes me suspect that Pop-Up Tophat might be a project run by a couple of high school kids, though, so I'm more than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (After all, don't most of us wish we could have done this kind of stuff in high school?).

I think some of this (http://www.crowncommission.com/dailygrind/) is good, its a page that links to various webcomics that are all updated daily (for a competition, see who can last on a daily update mon-fri scedule the longest). The quality varies as some of them just churn out some old rubbish which looks more like a filler than an actual comic, but there is some great stuff there.
I especially like devilspanties (http://devilspanties.keenspot.com/),Grug (http://tedprior.livejournal.com/) andDJCoffman (http://yirmumah.net/). The best ones are further back so you'll have to go back some pages. There are other ones there too, have a look at what's there, and you don't have to sick to the current ones, some old ones by people who dropped out are great. They just don't add new stuff so you're stuck with archives.
goodbyefoom (http://goodbyefoom.stereotypist.com/) is just stickmen but I think they're quite funny.
Normallife (http://normallife.livejournal.com/) was great, I really liked the drawing style, but it doesn't update anymore :-(

Quite a lot I've listed so I'll leave the rest of that site alone. If you're really bored it's quite good just to pick one that looks good and go through some of the older stuff, again, the quality really varies so don't be put off by one crappy comic.

Aside from all that... whiteninja (http://www.whiteninjacomics.com) is great. That and Zebragirl (http://zebragirl.keenspot.com/), everyone's favourite stripy girl-turned-demon.

Well I've been reading a lot of web comics lately so it's time for a quick little up date on the ones I'm liking these days aside from the ones I already mentioned...And several of these haven't yet been mentioned...now with crappy discriptions attatched!

CAD
Mac Hall
EGS
PA
Avalon (http://www.avalonhigh.com/) - High School stuff...In Canada...and such
Flint Again (http://www.basilflint.com/)- detective stuff...read the old stuff too
Sorcery 101 (http://sorcery101.net/)- one of the best newish comics out there at this time good story, good art. Sort Archive for those who worry about the time it takes to read a bunch of comics.
No Pink Ponies (http://www.nopinkponies.com/)- a web comic about a girl who owns a comic book store. Another good new comic. Again short archive.

There are a bunch more out there...and soon...(within 3 months...hopefully if all goes according to plan) I'm hoping someone links my webcomic...It's gonna blow you away!

Happy reading!

oh your various gods, you heathens! how could you not recognize the mighty truth that is the Holy Bibbling of the Holy Prophets (http://www.holybibble.net/)? (from whence my current avatar comes, and the scene is actually funnier within context)
but as for "web comics" as you unwashed pagans like to call them, most of what's already been said, 8-bit, BnG Vg cats. all good.

Hmm I haven't done this.

1. Order of the Stick(Though this is partly because it's in the middle of a major story arc and Burlew's pulling out all the stops)
2. Gunnerkrig Court
3. 8-Bit Theatre
4. Sluggy Freelance
5. Dr McNinja

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this one yet but
Anomaly at www.hyperdeathbabies.com
EDIT: Linking is a helluva lost easier then I thought, but this is a ridiculous comic. The first one will leave you going 0.O

Although it's new, and I'm sure a good amount of people already know about it, I'll link it anyway. Looking For Group (http://www.lfgcomic.com) is actually quite a funny comic despite it's brevity, but then again that happens when a comic is just starting out. I encourage you all to go check it out.

HAH, I love looking for group. My friend got me into it and now I read it every update, tho it is not quite as good as 8-bit. I suppose it needs some time to develop.

I'm looking for a webcomic I used to read like a year or two ago. I don't remember much about it, It was two roommates who lived in the same apartment building as doctor doom and showed up as member of the fantastic 4 to the building's halloween party two years in a row. There was a hammer tag joke and maybe a shirt. I also seem to remember a gag about the ipod being a monkey and the special u2 i-monkey was dressed as bono.I'll appreciate it If anyone can help me with this, I know I probably didn't make much sense.

Thanks man, that comic is awesome. there was one point where I read over literally 100 webcomics but lost track of a bunch of them when my hard drive crashed and I lost my favorites. This comic being one of them.

8-bit theater, because in my opinion, Brian Clevinger himself is a genious. I am so glad that this comics exist.

VG Cats is fun to read too because it parodies many games that are launched or that are classics. The RE4 and Gears of War comics are some of the comics that I love to read.

Lastly, Bob and George webcomics. Short but absolutely hilarious in most parts. Also, who doesn't like the classic Megaman?

In order, my favorite webcomics are:
1. 8-bit theater -- the only one that I have regularly checked for over 2 or 3 years
2. Joe and Monkey -- I blame you for this one, Fifthfiend
3. Gunnerkrigg Court -- also your fault, Fifthfiend
4. Dominic Deegan -- it's older strips/pages put it on the list, it's newer ones place it near the bottom
5. VG Cats -- it's non-connected, standalone style of strips is appealing, but it's ratio of 2 strips to 3 weeks is a bit of a put-off

No specific order:

8 Bit Theater

CAD (was letting me down for a while but he crams in those odd gems that suck you right back in.)

Oots

VGCats (I love the update style)

MMORPC (because I write it, so I have to love it.)

Hero By Night (This does however steal #1 spot. He is making the next big hero.)

Well, it's already been said with VG Cats. But there's one I saw, it caught my attention instantly because I like the idea of all the worlds being linked together, and of regular humans being part of them. It's called Final Blasphemy, and a quick google search that involves the words final blasphemy drunk duck will get you straight to it.

The impact is somewhat diminishes by over two years of buildup as the Big Evil. Plus the line about this being his early career fills me with a considerable amount of dread at how long this comic could take to get to something like a main plot.

That said yeah, all things considered that was kinda neat.

I've loved 8-bit since highschool... but my other favorite (though it is now on perminant hiatus) that i grew to not like was Life of Riley. It had good geek and paintball comedy in parts... then it started getting a little too serious. I think web comics should be funny... i like funny
