i found that article strange. i've never had that problem with WoW. i mean, yeah servers go down alot, and i mean that. but its never been to the point of frustration for me.

its kind of wierd that blizzard made like nine billion servers, and is still having load problems. but hey, i could have told you that blizzard can't make netcode to save thier lives. just look at Diablo II.

Don't quote me on this because I'm just theorizing, but I think they stretched their bandwith over multiple servers because of how many people were playing and in the process killed off their streaming feed.

I've never had that problem, but I'm on a roleplayer server (and I'm actually a roleplayer)

You are quite right. Stupid England.

But seriously, I've had a few problems with my server going down(feathermoon) but it hasen't gotten to the point of me getting pissed off and canceling my subscription. WoW is really worth it, albeit you have a high speed internet connection.

Wait, you're on Feathermoon? So am I.

PM me. Horde: Weebl, Alliance: Arrin.

and yes, there are some serious lag problems recently (I crash in the AH all the time) but it's not worth cancelling subscriptions.

Is anyone else having a lot of trouble finding this game? No one is carrying it! EBgames was supposed to get a shipment in over the weekend but I haven't been able to check (I work every second weekend and get off after they close.) I'm going there straight after work today to (hopefully) buy it. I swear, if they sold out of it over the weekend, I will so mad

Nope, it's not just you. Amazon hasn't had a copy since January and WoW is having such huge problems for people who already OWN the game they really can't make any more. I just hope they do soon, my friend's still waiting.

Yeah, that's what I heard too. High pop servers are having real problems. I just hope Blizzard fixes them soon so they can start shipping again (that's if the EBgames is sold out.) This is what I get for playing the game for a week over Christmas. The withdrawl I'm suffering because of the wait is unbelievable.

<edit> Update. Went to EBgames yesterday afterwork. They still hadn't recieved the shipment yet. That's not even the worst part though. Turns out the shipment will be smaller than expected and even a few people who pre-ordered won't get the game, which means there won't be any copies on the shelf and I have a 0% chance of getting it there. Damn.

So I went online and bought it for double it's worth. Huzzah!
