"... And with a mighty blow, Melbu Frama crushed the chest of LLoyd, the noble Wingly. With his dying breaths, he gave to Rose, the Dragoon of Darkness, the Dragoon Buster, and to Dart, a humble boy from Seles who later became the Dragoon of Flame, the spirit of the Divine Dragoon. With the gem in his hand and the hopes of millions in his heart, the Duo lept into battle, along with Kongol, who I thought was last of the Gigantos, to battle the Wingly leader who decame a vassal of Destruction, Melbu Frama. Where was I, you ask? Meru, the Water Dragoon, Hachel, Dragoon of Lightning, and I, King Albert of Serdio, Jade Dragoon of the Wind, I was fighting the Super Virage. I loomed...."
Destin knew the rest of the legend, the Dragoon Legend. He knew the story of his grandfather's triumphant return, but what was not written was the aftershocks of their actions. For destroying the Virage, 108th of the creations of Soa, the Dragoons doomed the world to 15 years of terror. Their victory had reset the threads of fate, returning to the point of the 106th race, the Dragons. Once near extinction, they came back in full force, but the Dragoons tamed the ones they could and forced the others into hiding. After the mighty Dragons, however, the rebirth of the winglies occured. Their magical powers at their prime once again, they decided to make peace with humanity, but peace was soon lost. Within moments of the official peace agreements, both leading govenment officials, including King Albert, a Dragoon himself, were killed. The Virages had returned. The dragoons would fall, one by one, their powers lost with their dragoons. Winglies lost control of their magic, and it imprisoned them, almost like a magnet, in Hellena, for the next five years. Once the virages where slain, the God of Destruction remained. A sole warrior, unknown to the world, fought. Supposedly it was Dart himself, others say it was his father, and the warrior killed the God, weeping over the body as if it was dear to him. The warrior was killed soon after, supposedly of a broken heart.
Destin awoke from his daydream. I need to focus was his only thought as he descended the castle stairs. He clutched the jade gem around his neck, a family heirloom, and made his way to the ship outside. His destination, Hellena Prison. Unlike the fearful humans who used artificial devices to restrain the Winglies, he desired peace, and was going to attempt to dismantle the devices. An act of treason, perhaps, but it must be done. Nothing will ever be acomplished if Humans and Winglies are at odds. The Terra Destroyer, the Super Virage, will return.
Destin boarded the ship, not noticing the gem's subtle glow.

Carin stalked into the bounty office in Bale, dragging with him a bruised and battered man who looked quite criminal, and was also unconcious. He wasn't uninjured himself, a black eye and a large gash on his cheek, which was bleeding quite bad and staining his shirt. The person at the desk stared at him with an odd look on his face, thinking something like this wasn't part of his job description.
"How much do I get for this guy? He was pretty high up on your list of bouties," Carin asked with a calm gesture to the mess on the floor.
"Fifty for bringing him in, and twenty five for keeping him alive," the clerk responded, handing the mercenary a small bag of gold.
"That's it? That's all? Geez, I never should have come to this place for work..." Carin mumbled. It may have been in his way for where he was travelling, but stopping for work was just a bad idea. He figured he would stay here a little longer to plan out where he would go next, just so he wouldn't kill himself with a budget for a long travel. Walking out of the bounty office, he headed for the inn, not even paying attention to his cheek as it continued to bleed slightly.

Fredrick sat in front of a shrine honoring the fallen knight Lavitz. He pulled out his staff which was strapped to his back and stuck it in the dirt. He then pulled out a candle and lit it with some flint. He then lifted the staff and set the lit candle in the hole the staff had made. Frederick then went to go into the bounty office to go see who had been brought in this fine day. When he got in he saw a bruised and battered man sitting in a nearby cell.
"I'm guessing Carin brought him in?" Frederick had asked the clerk.
"You guess is right my friend", the clerk responded.
He pulled down his sleeve to look at wristband with a red stone set in the middle, which in his case he kept as a promise to take revenge for the terror that had befallen him many years ago. On rare occasions the stone might have glown for no apparent reason.
Frederick then walked out to do his daily errands as he always did not knowing of the fate that was about befall him.

Destin arived at Hellena, stretched above the sky like a sadistic relic of war.
Everyone deserves to be free. Everyone deserves to live. Everyone deserves to prove their worth....
Destin stepped out of his ship, a mere speck in the monitors of the Hellena watchtowers. Plenty had tried to break out, but breaking in? That was a feat attributed only to the great Knight, Lavitz, and the Dragoon Hero, Dart. Yes, he would match their skill, their valor. He began to ascend the chain that kept it afloat. It was only a matter of time, only a matter of time......
As he reached the top, he waited for the sound of the guard, so close to the edge, and swung up, wearing a black cloak and black jeans, and firmly planted two swift feet into his chest. The guard fell to a satisfying splash on the waters below.
See, that wasn't as bad as we had planned. One swift kick and...
One swift kick. Two guards at every post. All Destin could hear was the alarm sounding in the distance, at the Warden't office...

"Please! I've had no food for 2 days! Give me something!" Edward pleaded the guard.
"We're under strict orders to keep you weak. We don't want any of your filth breaking through the magic restraints. Go eat a cellar rat, you despicable bugs."
"The rats carry diseases that we don't have the nutrition to battle. Please, give him something before he starves to death..." Ed's cellmate responded when Ed hit the floor. They didn't have much to do, the cellmates only could think about how long they've been in. Many of them were only in prison merely because they were winglies, and waited for a day they could get out. If only Lloyd was strong enough to defeat Melbu, he'd be the hero. The world would be different. Winglies would... Ed thought as he passed out.

Frederick threw what he had picked up into his buggie including a bottle of spirits. He figured this was the day he was finally going to execute his plan of helping some Winglies get out of Hellena.
If this doesn't I'll end up in there with em.
He was going to use the bottles of spirits to get the guards drunk and sneak the Winglies out while the guards were asleep. He then strapped his staff to his back in case of an escape situation and jumped onto his buggie and left for Hellena Prison.
On his way out he looked back at his town and said,"Once I leave, I might not be able to come back."
ooc:I'm thinking of a plan to somehow have Edward be one of the escapees and Destin be a person he meets during the deadly mission and somehow they get locked in a battle. Reject the idea if you want or go along with it your choice.

As the alarm began to blare throughout the compound the guard Darilk had been stationed with stood with a start--completely ruining the game of solitaire he had been so thoroughly engaged in, after the mercenary had proven to be rather bad company--and grabbed his weapon, beginning to run out and begin the patrol. The guard stopped short, however, and turned back when he noticed that Darilk hadn't even bothered to open his eyes or move away from the wall the large man had been leaning against.
"HEY! We aren't paying you to fucking nap you lazy sonofabitch! Get off your ass!"
Darilk's eyes fluttered open rather calmly and he began to move, but instead of walking out of the door he grabbed the guard's throat, with speed that seemed almost unnatural considering the heavy armor constricting Darilk's movements, pinning the man against the wall, about a foot off the ground.
"I am free to terminate my contract at any moment... You'd serve well to remember that."
His gauntleted hand released the guard's throat, letting him fall to the ground, gasping for air, as Darilk exited the room and walked out into the hallway. He stopped there, however, for just a moment before heading in the same direction as most of the other guards. They were running and charging toward the intruder, he merely walked. If the reason the alarm went off was too much for the guards, at least it would be worn down by the time Darilk got there.

Destin stood over 23 different bodies.....
They were good, but one mistake, one simple mistake.....
First guy had a spear, in 20 hundreths of a second he was on his own weapon, doing flips and landing heavily. Everyone after that was a cinch.
Destin picked up two keys and ducked into a hallway. A squad of soldiers blindly ran by, but Destin was already on the second floor. As he ran, he almost felt too weary to go on because of all the pain he could see in the Wingly prisoner's eyes. He saw one that seemed alert next to one who was out cold, and threw him a key.
"Let as many as you can free, in name of Prince Destin, you are pardoned. Make way for the Border of Serdio and live well!"
The delay let the guards catch up, and only one option was left......
Let's rock.....

Ed's cellmate caught the key. Immediately he unlocked both pairs of shackles, granting movement and magic to him and Ed. "Wake up..." he wispered, casting a restoration spell on Edward. In a matter of seconds, Ed went from the floor to his feet. "Will you be ok?" he asked.
"I'll be fine. Take care of the others. Godspeed." Ed replied, gasping for breath. He walked out into the hall, every step feeling more refreshed due to the magic. "Need some help?" He asked rhetorically as he stretched out his wings for battle. The first guard to reach the two tried to charge at Ed, but faster than the eye could blink, Ed was the new owner of the guard's sword. You won't be needing this anymore, he thought as the guard fell to the ground unconsious. Ed turned to the other guards, and went into a defensive stance.

Darilk had followed along behind the other guards, up until they had passed by the staircase leading to the second floor. He had stopped there to admire the bodies strewn about by the invader, and, in doing so, heard some movement coming from the stair well. He, however, didn't bother running to catch up. They weren't paying him well enough to run.
In the course of his walk up the stairs the other guards had realized their mistake and had charged up past him, effectively arriving at Destin and Ed ahead of Darilk, but, after the first few moments of skirmish, the mercenary arrived and arched an eyebrow as he saw that it was only one man and a recently freed winglie that were giving the other men so much trouble.
'A challenge,' he thought as a smirk slid across his face.
"Move."
The word, although spoken calmly, carried an air of dominance with it that forced the guards, who had been taking orders for most of their lives, into submission before they even realized who they were obeying. There was a shuffling of spears and armor as they all moved off to the side and Darilk approached, his hand resting on the pommel of his sword.
"I would suggest you both return to the nearest cell. I will not be as forgiving as Hellena."
Steel scratched against steel as his blade made its way from his scabbard and was pointed toward the interlopers.

A scared Wingly made his way from the ensuing riot, tripping on his own fear and crumping in a heap. As he regained himself, he looked at the cells close to him. Most were empty, except for an open one that held a gigantic man bound in chains.
Chiz had never seen a Gigantos, believed like the rest of the world that they didn't even exist, but was confused as to why the man stood there with the cell door open.
"Are you ok guy? The guards are coming soon." The brute said nothing. He raised his hands, showing they were still shackled, as if that was all the reason he needed to not move.
"You can break out them. You're huge, cmon, we gotta go." Again the shackled man merely lifted up his bound hands. Chiz didn't know why he was putting this much effort into helping, no convincing, this man to escape, but he found that he couldn't stop. It was like correcting a child's homework, trying to convince a person to change their way of acting.
The wingly was about to try one last time when an arrow struck his leg. He collapsed, hanging on to the open bars for support. A guard walked over and kicked Chiz in the stomach. "Brought this on yerself ya filthy beast." He looked over at the bound man, not regarding him as any threat. He leveled his weapon at Chiz's head and barely registered the sound of cracking stone before a huge palm enveloped his arm and pressed down, eliciting cracks from the weak bone.
Chiz watched as the guy he had been trying to save grabbed the soldier effortlessly and tossed him away.
Iwamori plucked the metal chains from his body and left them on the ground. He turned and looked both ways down the prison, then set off in the direction Chiz had run from. The bewildered Wingly went back on his course, knowing that once he reached open skies a useless leg would be pointless.

It had been a few days since Carin had turned in his 'bounty'. It was unlucky for him that he had caught the wrong guy... who looked exactly like the person he was going after. Of all the places he could have done something like that, it had to be in the place where they trained the military. He had been brought to Hellena to serve a short sentence, and was hating it already. He really felt bad for the Winglies who had been here longer than a day or two.
Of course, not everything was bad. Not really knowing what the things on his forearms were, they let him keep his wrist blades, which was really dumb, but he didn't feel like getting in any more trouble after this. At least not in this place, anyway, what with him in solitary confinement and everything, it would be easy to just kill him and not care.
And then he heard the commotion outside. It lasted for a minute or two, getting louder every second. And then it stopped... right outside his cell. It may have been luck that Destin stopped right in front of his cell, but it didn't really matter. All that mattered was that he could get out of here, he didn't care how long his sentence was. And with any luck, he could cover his trail with some good deed. He had to get Destin's attention before he was swarmed or he started fighting.
"Hey, you. Guy doing all the miraculous deeds and stuff. Mind letting me out? I could help if you need it, ya know, with all the guards and stuff..." He felt really pathetic asking like that. It felt embarassing to ask this person like he would just run away after he was saved. Of course, he wouldn't run right away, but that didn't mean he wouldn't consider running away at all.

Frederick had arrived at the prison in sort of an uproar, guards and wardens running all over the place. As he reached the door the guard stopped him,"What is your business here sir?" The guard had asked him in a serious tone. "I have come to provide the guards with relief such as food and spirits to celebrate the imprisonment of the winglies", Frederick had answered.
"Sorry but no entrance is permitted at this time seeing as though we have some intruders." The guard then went through a small path located at the right side of the bridge.
Frederick then thought of a plan that would get him in. He then unstrapped his staff from his back and readied it. He jumped off his buggey and followed the path the guard had just taken a second ago. As he neared the end the guard he had just spoken to spotted him.
"Hey your not suppo----" CRASH!!! Frederick had brought his staff upon the skull of the guard knocking him out cold. Frederick then exited the path and was confronted by two more guards in which were easy for him to take out with a few cracks on their skulls. He had then rolled their bodies off into a series of small rocks to hide them.
He had stayed by the bridge waiting to assist any escapees who might make it there seeing as though there were some intruders who might wanna make it out just fine.

Destin sighed, then looked at his options.
I definately don't have time for this.....
He heard a voice from the side and tossed him a key off the guard at his feet.
"Go, and remember to live life fully."
He turned to the Wingly that had offered to assist him, still keeping an eye on the mysterious stranger that seemed hell-bent on fighting. He kept his voice low, almost to the point of being incomprehensable.....
"No time to fight. Go left and up. An exit."
He shoved the Wingly and threw a Smoke Ball to cover their retreat....
"GO!"

"Live fully? Geez, I haven't lived well at all since the day I ran away..." Carin mumbled as he unlocked his shackles and got up quickly, stretching a little before bursting through the door and running after Destin. Coughing a little after coming out of the fog of the smoke bomb, he looked around to see where he was, and saw Destin running ahead of him with a wingly. As if it weren't enough, there were also some guards emerging after the mercenary, looking ready to kill anything in sight.
"Oh great, definitely not my day," Carin said as he let his wrist blades spring out. The guards looked surprised that he had weapons for a second... enough time for Carin to run from the obviously overwhelming odds. Now he was being chased by a huge group of guards with 2-foot long blades going out past his hands while chasing his liberator. It all seemed very odd, but it didn't really matter to him. As long as he could get out he was happy.
"Hey, you, person who just rescued me. What the hell are we gonna do now? We've got a helluva lot of guards on our tail."

Iwamori stood in the empty hall. You didn't have to be a ranger to tell of the battle and loss that had recently filled this void. But he was not concentrating on that. He closed his eyes and let the wafting smells fill his senses, until he found the correct one from the selection of odors. He stalked towards the scent, blocking out the sweat and blood around him. He stopped in front of a door, then kicked it in. He looked around the room, with its cages and boxes. An obviously scared guard huddled in a corner, but he did not concern Iwamori. Opening the boxes seemingly at random, he found his treasure. The large chain clunked as the metal orb it carried forced its weight against the Gigantos's hands.
Twisting the cap, Iwamori let his nostrils flare as he took in the essence of the forest. The hours spent inside the prison melted away, and the promise of home pervaded his thoughts. He closed the ball, then put the chain on his neck. He ducked out of the door and now saw what his nose had not shown. A faint unnatural smoke lingered about, drifting upwards. The smoke became his guide through the stairs and he soon found himself outside, staring at the backside of a small guard grop facing two escapees.

Destin had no choice. They were at the top of Hellena, so he threw back his hood. Instantly, the guard's stopped, astonished and confused.
"Prince Destin?"
He turned to the wingly, whispering as softly as possible....
"Now's your chance. Fly away. I'll be fine."
Destin pushed the Wingly off the edge, glad the poor sap could fly. He turned to the guy he's freed, the ones with claws on his hands. It looked like he might be good in a pinch here.
"Listen, I need one minute and I guarantee we'll both get out of here A-OK. Can you give me one?"
He looked for the man's eyes, praying for a yes.

"Yeah, sure. I've never been too much of a spontaneus job taker, but right now isn't really the time for whining." Carin was surprised by Destin's identity, but right now wasn't the time. He had work to do.
Taking a defensive stance, he blocked the first shot by a guard with a sword. With one arm free, he cut the arm off at the elbow. The man reared back in pain, only to be replace by a few more. It wasn't really hard to kill or maim them, but the fact that more came every second made things rather cramped.
"Dammit, I didn't sign up for this..." he mumbled as he used the body of a guard he had stabbed as a shield and kicked the body away. Then he looked around in front of him. Lots of guards, overwhelming numbers, a cliff at his back, and a prince asking him to somehting crazy. Definitely not an ordinary day...

Ed stumbled a bit in the air as he fell/flew. He hadn't used his wings in a long time, but he managed to relearn how to use them before he hit anything. He flew as fast as he could to the top of the tower, only to see several guards surrounding Destin and a stranger. He was behind the two, off the edge, and asked, "Need some help getting down?"
An arrow flew right by him, and he brought out the sword he 'obtained' earlier. "The way I see it, there are two ways out of this mess. Both will put you two in great danger, so I hope you have another plan."

Sick and tired of waiting Frederick walked away from the bridge only to see a man being pushed off the tower from a distance. He was amazed that the man immediately hovered into the air afterwards.Maybe these are the so-called "Winglies". I'll go checks this out. He ran towards the tower in what seemed to be a red flame. As he reached the tower he saw some rocks. If I use these I can climb to where all this activity is going on. So he grabbed hold of a stone and started climbing.

Darilk had arrived somewhat late at the top of Hellena, due to the fact that he still wasn't being paid well enough to bother with running, but, once he arrived he could clearly see that one of the infiltrators was nobility by his face, which seemed extremely familiar. The guards, for their part, had also seemed content to attack only the other escapee standing next to him, instead of the noble, so they had apparently recognized him as someone important as well.
It didn't particularily matter to Darilk, however. The two were cornered and out numbered. There was little for him to do regardless of who the interlopers were, and so he just leaned against the wall, deciding that he wouldn't bother to interrupt unless he was needed.

Iwamori did not know that the Wingly was royalty. He did not know what had caused the guards to try to harm the men. He did not know why they were imprisoned. He simply knew that is was not right that they were outnumbered and still being attackeed. Wolves should not form packs to hunt wounded rabbits.
He leapt over the guard group and landed with a graceful thud in front of the wouldbe attackers and in front of the two prisoners. He flexed his huge muscles and covered his face in a warrior's rage.

Destin had finished rigging his "suprise" when a large humanoid, perhaps a Gigantos, lept in front, most likely to assist in the battle. He walked forward, simply saying "Don't worry. It's about time to leave anyway."
Destin walked forward, smiling and looking ath the guards, all still somewhat taken back by his identity.
"I want you all to realize that you are witnesses to history. I am renouncing my position as prince! This world is controlled by paranoia, and I will fix it and return true glory to my family line. We must all co-exist to avoid the end of days! This means winglies and humans must work as one. Now, is you will excuse me, we have a chain to catch...."
He walked back, telling the Gigantos to grab the other man who had been helping him and to grab the support chain. The soldiers inched forward.
"If you will excuse us....."
He threw a Burn Out at the explosives he had set, making a deafening crash and sending all of Hellena off balance. The support chain began to lower, making a nice smooth ride for the escapees.
"Once we're on the ground, head for the red ship. We'll do plesantrees there."

The caravan had been attacked by bandits a couple times and they had asked him to ride along and safeguard it. Being the protector Morthanas is, he immediately agreed. Darilk kicked himself off of the wall as the building began to shake and the guards were thrown off balance. The prisoners were getting away, and that would mean his getting fired from one of the easiest jobs he had ever had, if not one of the best paying. He sighed a bit before taking off at a sprint, smashing any guards who couldn't move out of the way with his gauntleted fists. He absolutely hated running. He hated jumping more. Especially jumping out of the window of something this far in the air, wearing full combat mail, just to grab on to a chain. It was either that or let them get away, however, and Darilk wasn't one to fail a job.
He lauched himself off the over hang, toward the chain which was slowly moving further and further away, his arm outstretretched. For a moment the wind blew the chain a little bit to the left, and it looked like he would miss and fall to his death, but he managed to stretch his arm out and barely close his fingers around the metallic links, his momentum tugging the entire chain roughly away from the building and then back, as he swung back into the chain by his arm, and grabbed it with his arms and legs.
