View Full Version : Custom Soundtracks on the X-Box?

Well, I have a few games where, apparently, I can put in custom soundtracks into the game, like Lord of the Rings: The Third Age for example.

But it doesn't tell me anywhere how to do that. Not even in the instruction manual. Now, it's not that I even WANT to customise my soundtracks. It's the principle of the thing. The fact that I can do something, and it won't tell me how!

Anyone know how to do it?

First you have to save the tracks on your X-box. You probably knew that already, if not then... no wonder you haven't gotten anywhere.

Then its probably under options in the game somewhere where you can mess with all the other audio settings (music vollume and whatnot. )

I have a bunch of saved tracks on there.

And it isn't in the options or anything. It's starting to piss me off.

Look on the back of the gamebox. It should say "Custom Soundtracks" in the little green boxes bit at the bottom. Not all games surport it (Mostly racing and Driving games do).

It does. I look on the back, and it says that it has it.

It just doesn't tell me how to get it to work.

To be clear:

1) I DO have tracks saved on my X-Box.
2) The game I'm trying DOES have custom soundtrack compatability.
3) I have NOT messed with the game in any way.

I just don't know how it works, and nothing is telling me.

Try getting the Karaoke thingy for the XBOX and hooking it up to your PC. Then you can feed it soundtracks via LAN.

no he means to select it as the playing soundtrack in the game. Basically anything like this can be adjusted in the games audio options or options in general.
