Actually, that's where your wrong...kinda As per my usual, I did attach a subtitle from a movie that was 5th in a series to this thread, although I admit it didn't work that well. Which movie series however...that's something for you to figure out.

HINT: Horror/Slasher movie series. Use IMDB if you have to.

I promise that if we have a 6th discussion thread, I'll come up with something a lot better. Unfortunately it gets hard when I'm not trying to repeat series.

All right, enough aside. Time to utilize this thread for it's actual purpose.

Right now MC and I are not going to be able to post probably until next week because we are both involved in a musical which is taking up all our time. And I can't really post until Jade reaches the control room (or Zeph utilizes his other secret plan, whichever comes first)

So while I'm not too overly concerned at the lack of activity, I am concerned that some might think this RP is going to die just shy of possible completion. So I'm just saying right now it's not dead...just stunned by real-life events (most likley).

Wow...those posts were just...wow. I decided to play the music you had in the post and it fit in perfectly. I certainly don't want to ever meet Scrya in a dark alley. Amazing posts Zeph, I doubt I'll ever be able to come up with something better.

Now, my plan is that Monk makes it to the control room, Wolf and Kaitlin find Jade and Raven and then they fight off the mountains of guards and then meet Monk in the control room. If you could get Wraith and Scrya there Zeph, we can start the fun.

Well, he's big and fast, but not that fast. She could've jumped up and ripped his head off with the first move, knocking aside his hands. The shapeshifter could've done the same, since he's faster than Scrya; even Raven or Tia would have their ways of ending it quick and fast.

But I do see your point: when you're not fast enough, you have to make do with improvisation; the trick is thinking faster and knowing which direction will work better in the opening seconds of the fight.

Now usually that would've worked had he not been able to grow back a new head, as I knew. :p That would've been dealt with as it came, though. Also, you've got Scrya figured wrong (again :p): she's not a brute force fighter... sure, she's very powerful, but raw strength really isn't her strong suit (my, but that's ironic... o.O).

But let's not get into another debate now... ^-^; Look, a distraction! *riffs a rendition of RatM's Bulls on Parade*

I'm startin' to really feel stood up by Dante, too, 'cause he hasn't been answering my PMs this entire week. :-/

I feel like doing something random, so I shall thus commence to write a CW Omake.

And here goes, off the top of my head...

The Urge

Base Chicago -- 20:13 hours

Devin: *playing God of War, alone in his room* "...Damn man... I feel like hurtin' somethin' now..."

Angel: *walking in unannounced* "Hey dude ya wanna--BLARGH!"

Devin: "KNOCK FIRST!"

Devin, indignant, sits back down on the couch and continues to play, ignoring Angel's gurgling sounds and the growing pool of blood on the floor from his actions which are too horrible to mention.

Devin: *a few seconds later...* "All right, now what were you saying? ...Angel? Angel...?" ._.

o_o; "Oh, my..."

*****

Wolf: *outside with Kaitlin* "So if you've got the music, I've got the roses and we both got the room..." <3

Kaitlin: "Oh, I got all the right music..." <3

*obnoxious kissing scene, until they hear a knock from inside Devin's room*

Wolf: "...What the deuce?" *knocks on Devin's door* "Hey, Devin?"

*opening the door, he peeks inside*

Wolf: "Devin? GYARGH!"

Devin yanks him inside, leaving Kaitlin blinking out in the hallway. She hears punching sounds and struggling though, and sees smoke and little stars floating out into the hallway...

Devin: "LET ME ANSWER FIRST!"

Wolf: "OW! Devin, you--OW! Wait--OW! STOP!"

Kaitlin: *peeks in, too* "Jason, Devin, what're you two--ACK!"

*massive struggling and fighting ensues, ending when the smoke clears*

Devin: *eyetwitch* "Interrupt not my fights..." �_� *huff huff*

._. "Oh, dear..." o_o;;

Jade, Monk, Wraith, and Scrya all come by later with a cake and party favors, because it just so happens to be Devin's birthday and they were going to "surprise" him. Let's just call it a plot device, please.

Jade: *whispers to the group, then clears her throat and opens the door, where everyone follows and blows their noisemakers* "SURPIIIII--AIIIIEE!"

Base Chicago Courtroom -- Next Day, 1400 hours

The rest of his Cyber Force teammates, in various stages of bandaging and carrying differing types of "pissed off" expressions, sit across from him in the audience, while the prosecutor cross-examines him.

Devin: "It wasn't me, it was the game... I swear!" ^^;;;

Jade: *eyetwitch* "Sure, Devin, surrrre..."

There, finally done.

The first post was written by Dante, the second by me, the third by both (sort of...), and the rest all me. Just for reference. :) And just for more reference (highlight the following, it's ghetto spoiler tagged): when Tia's talking, it's all telepathic. Adding color tags would just add to the size of the posts too much, and they're already too long.

My only hope now's that I did Devin right with what I wrote for him... ^^'

Also, I love MC's reaction to the ultimatum better than mine. XD

I wondered myself why Monk was suddenly in the room with everyone else. :p Basically everybody just showed at one time in one place, where Mastermind proceeded to shut off everyone's nanites with a virus. Shahdee cracked that virus years ago, however, so she's technically unaffected but not going to be a factor (she's not a fighter). In another last-ditch effort, Mastermind tried to get Tia to turn against them and join his side through some very subtle suggestion, but it didn't work and she finally turned on him.

He's alone now, and Raven's preventing anyone from coming or going until the fight's over with. Everybody's recuperating or attacking at this point, sans their abilities except for Scrya, Monk, Wraith, and Tia. This's actually Monk or Myth's opportunity to come out swinging. :p

And I'm probably a day late and a dollar short, but I see your title says "Officially in love"... who's the lucky misses? -_^

On a note about the RP: I know what's going on, I'm just upset that people took control of Monk and decided to have his ass handed to him without me knowing that my character was going to be attacked without my control and therefore, have no way of "defending" myself. But it's all right, I can deal.

Just finished this one of Tia. Her suit's not quite what I had in mind (never really had a concrete fix on what I wanted anyhow) and I'm not sure if her face is what I was thinking, either... but it's serviceable, I suppose. :-/ Might do another one some time just so I can work on her face.

Those are some pretty good drawings there, Zeph. Certainly better than the drawings of people I've ever done. Still...practice makes perfect I guess.

EDIT: I just realized that the suits Tia and Shahdee are wearing are kinda similar to the sneaking suit worn by "The Boss" in MGS3. Not sure if that's what you were going for, but I think it's cool nonetheless.

I've not played that one... so, no. :p I actually got my inspiration for Shahdee's suit from the X-Men movies, and Tia's just happened to turn out looking like Shahdee's... which really wasn't my intention but yet makes some sort of sense anyway. In any case, I feel personally that Tia's needs work while Shahdee's is good where it is... =)

I was just goofing off too. I need something to do until my post opportunity comes (needed to consult with someone). And like I said, if we're going to turn the RP into that scene from Lethal Weapon 3...or those 2 scenes from MGS3...then that's [Pvt. Bisenti]Fine by me![/Pvt. Bisenti] ;)

We'll just all have to end up in the ICU after this mission, I'm guessing.

(has thoughts of crossing the scar scenes from Lethal Weapon 3, MGS3, and Jaws. Why Jaws? Cause it would be unfair if only the ladies showed their scars. Equality: It's not just for the workplace anymore.)

Thanks, I've been entertaining myself while the posting's been slow. :p Take all the time you want with finals, I don't think anyone's here's gonna bitch about no-posting when we've all been there and done that. =)

Speaking of pics I might got one coming of Devin and Shahdee if I like it, check back again if you're interested; I'll edit it into this post.
