Am I wasting my time?

I have been wondering if my comic is worth continuing. As for my stats they have been going down as of late and it's starting to bug me that I maybe doing this for myself. Which I don't really like, because all I was doing this comic for is for fans. Something that I can do that people enjoy. THAT is why I made the comic. If no one is around to read it then why continue.

Are people getting bored with it? Do I need to focus my creative skills somewhere else? I have been making these comics for 10 months now and not 1 piece of mail has come my way. Not one! It is just frustrating is all and the fun of making them is almost all gone. It was fun knowing that people were visiting my site waiting for the next episode, but now that the visits are coming down to nothing and the fun is too.

So what should I do? You are all my friends here at NPF and I trust your opinions. If anyone can give me some straight answers, it's you guys.

Hey now. Don't get discouraged. I read your comic pretty regularly, about once a week. I may have a soft spot for sprite comics, but yours is one of the lucky few that has caught and kept my attention. I haven't been voting, but I'll remember to do it from now on.

I just read through the archive and I too am impressed. I especially liked the Valentine's Day comic. Do continue! I've always liked a "jumping between worlds" type of storyline.

If you generally think they aren't good then don't do them, if you do believe they are good then continue - it's how much confidence you have in your work that matters.

I do like my comics’ a lot. If I don't laugh at it in some way then I redo them. It's just that my visits to my site have all of a sudden drop to half of what it was. Which it wasn't that high to begin with but I was happy with it. Now in the last 2 weeks it takes a drop like that, then I had to ask myself the question I posed above. "Is it worth continuing?" To me, half my fans just abandoned me. Which really got to me. Hence the reason I needed to ask you guys.

I am glad to hear that bodily harm will fall upon me if I quit which makes me feel good. (I think) I am also glad to see some new names voicing their opinions on this too.
