Hi i just have to say congratz to everone who has recently aquired a lab top and wirless interenet connection. As Brian indicated is completly kills all human contact but hey who needs that anyway. Just beare stay away from World of warcraft if u have this gods gift to mankind, for if u don't your life is forfited to the burning legion *twitch twitch.* *maniacal laughter* *more maniacle laughter* *then some more maniacle laughter.* Well anyway Brain good luck with the laptop and it does work in most hotels and starbucks. And its main function of corse to end all human interactio. :)

Lies! I own a laptop and still manage to maintain human interactio! :p

Laptops are fairly efficient devices, but I find customer service in regards to them to be somewhat lacking. My friend's power cable snapped and it took him a month and a half to recieve a new one.

And on the subject of WoW, from what I've played of it on a laptop it still manages great framerates and satisfactory graphics. This all depends on the type you buy, though.

I don't know, just trying to make a discussion out of this. Someone congradualate me! :)

Well for us laptop geeks with good laptops are socially life officially ended the day we got it , for me it was December 25 2004. Santa or God must love me no idea why. Plus Brain will probably still be addicted enough to his laptop after it has been u know were to still play with it. As for World of Warcraft I would finish this but I have to go play. This is on my own free will and the laptop and or game is not controlling, its my choice um i think. ya ya my choice. who am i kidding i am coming to u my darling game. :confused:

Stupid laptop. If you had a stupid wireless internet connection, I would never need to leave my room except to eat and take my medication!! YAAR!

(Yes, I talk to my laptop. His name is Faramir. No, I'm not posting from my laptop, since as I mentioned, it does not have an internet connection. I am forced to do the majority of my posting and socializing from my school library computer lab. That, and because the voices tell me that the evil aura still lurks around my home PC.)

Damn, wish I had a laptop. One question. How many of these laptop owners happen to be a single child? Cause all my friends have laptops, and guess what? They are.
Oh well, at least I don't have to pay for a wireless card for any laptop I get in the future with my Linksys usb card.

It's how I'm able to type this in from my room, which used to be the previous homeowner's small weight room. The scent of male sweat has still not left entirely. And my brother and sister each have big decorated rooms with phone lines and Big screen tv's, while I've only 2 electric plug in spots, unpainted walls, and one of the first color tv's ever.

Actually, I have a laptop with wireless, and it's a rather nice Dell laptop, too. And no, I'm not an only child. Laptops with wireless don't cause a ceasing in human interaction, though, so maybe it's just you. :p
