All right...if everyone is really that restless...I suppose I could take over Jade long enough to get through this battle, and then we can wait until finals are over before continuing.

The alternative is to use this thread for CW-related art until finals ends if we've really got nothing to talk about...which might actually be a very good idea.

In the meantime I've got a CW art project BG knows about, but I need to look at references before I can finish it, so it's gonna be a while. I don't wanna post a preview here neither 'cause there's nothing to show.

No, I don't want to elaborate on my post more, either. I'm scaling back my character's actions a little more.

I'll give you a little preview, though. It's Star Wars-themed, and I'll give out the cast assignments later on, if I ever finish it. My mood's just not too conducive to art lately.

* Shahdee in some sort of different style combat suit. I don't really like it (few things are "off" to me), but it's something, at least. :-/

And no, I'm not in love with Shahdee. =p She's just easy to draw and a good pressure valve if I feel like just drawing something random.

Since I'm also waiting for MC to post (he's deluged in final schoolwork, and I'm not really sure he'll be able to make the deadline of tomorrow since he's going to be in NYC on an NHS trip all day) I'll add some more of my art.

This is a drawing I did of Beowulf, in the style of a Mega Man X universe reploid. Just something I came up with when I let my mind wander.

EDIT (cause there's too much spam already): I've decided to put up two sketches of something I thought I'd never draw for a long while, at least, not by hand. Here are two very rough concept sketches I made for Wolf. They're not in the best of shape, since my real good eraser was missing, but I made my best effort to erase stray marks.

On another note, I'm terrible with feet, hair, and facial features.

Worry not, it's all character-driven interaction and none of it involves risk to life or limb, it's just that there's so much I wanted to do that I'll have to compress into a series of posts myself to meet tomorrow night's deadline. I can do it, I'll just need permission first to carry it all out...

Rest assured I do this not to mock you all, but because I respect you enough to ask first, and because I would MUCH rather you give me all your own reactions instead of doing all my own... I'll do my best to keep everyone's character in character, but I give you the right to flame me by PM if I get something wrong and correct me on it... ^^;

And it's only four of you because I already handled everything I wanted to do with Angel and it would be beneath Raven to deal with the likes of my characters... -_^

Which is not an exclusive item here. Wraith had a bandanna made for him by Scrya. I had Wolf wearing a bandanna, mostly after recieving a cut on his head as a form of bandage, but occasionaly, wearing a bandanna as standard gear.

Cause Wolf was constantly playing Solid Snake to your Raiden throughout the early part of this RP.

Not an insult, BTW, just a statement of fact.

I too would like to extend my thanks and congratulations to those in this story. I'm a big fan of near-future settings, especially with a cyberpunk basis, and this was a pretty good example. I liked the Omni-Falcon idea in particular, though I think the nanites got out of hand. But that's just me.

So hats off to you all, on what I think is the third or fourth RP on the Nuklear Power Forums to actually, legitimately finish.

And you have yet another person to give all of you congratulations. I really do respect you for going on with that RP for so long, because it really gives me a sense of hope for other RPs.

What I mean by that, is that Cloud and I have both been in Shield of Lies since the beginning, and seeing this RP end is telling me that SoL can too. Lets just hope saying that won't immediately put the thing to death.

Anyway, should a sequel arise, I might or might not join. I always found it fun to look in and read snippets of the RP (I never read the whole thing, but I might read it when I have time). Something is telling me that I should just sit back and have fun just reading it, so it all depends on how I feel when it starts.

I might agree with you, but I tried to legitimately keep everything realistic. Still, I would like to go on record that I don't normally do, nor do I even like RPing characters with that level of skill or power (if I had to choose between Scrya's power or her character, I'll take her character every time, screw the power part). Indeed, Scrya deactivating her own nanites at the end is a step in that direction... no more souped-up Scrya for me, just plain ol' regular Scrya. And I managed to keep Wraith the most basic and un-augmented of all characters, even though Angel gave up all his powers at the end. =)

I'm late to the thank you party, too. I didn't realize there were so many people spying on us... ^^;
