I'm not complaining. Music sounds good, and a couple of the original songs grew increasingly annoying from hearing to often, specifically the hip hop thing while in the dorm. Not to say that the rest of the music wasn't great, just that certain songs weren't that enjoyable to me.
Every day I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the official announcement of Persona 5 for the PS3. When that day comes I will start the hype thread to pierce the heavens.
Oh quick heads up. The game has multiple endings and it isn't always clear what you need to do to get the true ending. It should be relatively obvious when you're at an ending affecting scene, but I don't want to give you too much info for spoiler reasons, obviously.
You haven't beaten Persona 4? Personally, I'd say Persona 4 because I've played all the way through it, and I consider it better. They worked out a lot of the battle kinks, you get real dungeons rather than differently designed areas of a single dungeon, and I think the story feels a lot more personal. Plus, you'll want to beat the game before Hiimdaisy spoils the whole story.
Of course, I haven't played The Answer yet for the same reason you're considering not playing it, so I'm not sure how it stacks up story wise.
I was in low eighties and didn't have any trouble until his final arcana, and by trouble I mean I had to use an actual strategy. I just really liked Ryoji and the little lines like "There was a time when I was called that. I did not mind it." really made it for me.
