Einhander is a 2D (with a few 3D touches, I suppose) space shooter made by Squaresoft, of all companies. Exciting stuff, probably one of Squaresoft's most underrated titles (but then it's not an RPG, so I suppose that's why it didn't get much attention.) I'd highly recommend it, but it cost me a good $30 on Amazon -- so it's not quite as cheap as you'd hope.
Oh man so am I. I just recently bought Grandia and Einhander, both of which were PS1 games that were made more than a decade ago, and I've actually enjoyed them more than some of the newer PS3 releases I've tried out.
Yeah, apparently it was a hard drive failure.
I still prefer the PS3 infinitely more than an X360 but I have to confess it was pretty shocking to see the machine fail so quickly. I've owned a PS2 for more than seven years now that's never had any issues.
I purchased eight games but sadly, Arkham Asylum wasn't one of them.
I'm pretty satisfied with my PS3 overall, though, aside from the one time it broke and I had to send it to Sony for service. (And I've only owned it for two months!)
I wanted to talk with you about your review, but had trouble adding you to my messenger thing. You wanna just add me whenever you get the chance, and we can talk words at each other?
We want to have the scoring system standardized across the entire site. That was one of the things we decided when we picked a scoring system. We actually considered a bunch of different ideas, and decided that out of five was probably preferable, just for simplicity's sake.
As for the review, when you're finished, send it over to prosperobot@gmail.com, because I check that email much more frequently.
Nique: How've you been? It's been a while since we've last chatted.
Quick note: If/when you get a chance, please let me know whether you'd deem it acceptable for me to include you as a fictionalized character in a Let's Play I'm going to be writing. Thanks!
