Hey, I was remembering that you mentioned wanting to learn Japanese swordsmanship to me. Anyway, I happened to pick up a book called "Iai: The Art of Drawing the Sword," by Darrell Max Craig. I thought I'd recommend it to you, 'cause I can vouch for the information that's in it being overall pretty consistant with my own training. Some of the diagrams are a bit lacking in terms of how well they depict the kamae, but you can look those up on google or youtube pretty easily to get a better idea of how they work.
Oh I'm relatively obsessed with guns (more weaponry in general) socks I could do without. I'm generally in sandals by the end of March regardless of the weather and the presence of snow.
