Name: Kenikua
Side: Dark
Race: War/Sword Demon
Age: 985
Appearance: Kenikua appears to be an almost unnaturally thin man, with a tattered hakama, and a straw hat, with long black hair that hangs loosely down his back. He wears a sword on his right hip, which seems to suck in the light around it.
Weapons: Jinitami--Whenever a swordsmith creates a masterwork weapon, they also create its 'opposite', a blade to hold all the spiritual impurities so that their true blade may be purified. Jinitami is the sword forged to hold the impurities of Raigaki, and its evil is so great that any human attempting to hold it is burnt by its touch.
Special Skills: Unlike Raigaki, Jinitami lacks its own inherent skills, but Kenikua has learned to work with its corruption. These abilities would be far weaker without it, if functioning at all.

Essence Inversion Strike: Upon cutting a human opponent with Jinitami, Kenikua forces their soul to interact with the corruption of the blade, and, even if the blow was a mere scratch, their soul begins to tear itself apart and turn inside out causing intense pain, and, usually, death. Usually the opponent falls immediately to the ground writhing in supernatural pain, though the particularly strong willed may be able to resist its effects. In such a case their soul is torn apart, a minor demon being given birth by the wound after a full day of suffering. The effect is far weaker and never fatal against half-demons (though still painful), and completely ineffectual against demons. Without the blade, Kenikua might still focus some of his energy through a normal weapon and inflict terrible pain, but it would only affect creatures as if they were one 'demonic level' higher (humans affected as half-demons, and half-demons not affected at all).

Universal Corruption Technique: Using the fact that Jinitami is an affront to the very existance of the universe, Kenikua subverts the natural laws of the world for a moment and allows his blade to exist in multiple wounds at once. This ability is effected as soon as he swings the blade, Kenikua's sword arm and weapon splitting into hundreds of attacks, each one striking from a different angle. Due to the strain of the ability, however, only one of these blows contains any actual force, the rest merely dealing hundreds of small superficial bleeding scratches. This technique relies completely on Jinitami's corruption, and is impossible without it.

Corrupting Resonance: Kenikua plunges the blade of Jinitami into the ground at his feet, and sends his own essence into the sword, gathering up its corruption and funneling it out into the ground. It takes a few moments to build up but once it does an explosion of corrupting essence blasts out in all directions, withering and destroying all life within 20 feet of his body. This technique is impossible without Jinitami.

History: Whether man or demon, no creature goes gently into that sweet sleep of death during the heat of battle. No man or monster wishes to die as they march to war, and this was true even for the followers of Daisuke Tama and Talkatz's demon army, and even the king of demons himself. As they each slain, or dismembered, their hatred, their fear, their bitterness over their fates, it became a palpable thing on that battlefield, the dark energies leeching into the weapons discarded on the field of battle. In time, these weapons melted away and slowly oozed together giving birth to the demon warrior Kenikua.

At first, Kenikua was somewhat lost. He was newly born and knew only hatred and malice directed at all things, human and demon alike. However, due the fact that he, himself, was a corruption of the battle against Talkatz, he felt... a calling, which he followed deep into the darkest reaches of the dungeons and forges of the underworld, and then deeper still, until it seemed to come from directly below him. Thrusting his hands into the ground he dug, pulling up dirt and rock until he felt something burning his impure aura, and yet he knew, somewhere within, that this thing burning him was what was calling to him. And so, grasping it in both hands he pulled it from the earth.

What he found was a wooden box carved with the name of kami and wrapped in paper talismans bearing the names of kami of light, with a hamaya arrow pierced through it. And yet, through all this, Kenikua could still feel something comfortable, something natural within it. And so, with difficulty, he tore the hamaya from the box, shredded the sealing paper, and struck the simple box with all his might until the wood cracked and shattered revealing the blade within. As he placed his hands upon it, he knew it intimately, as though it were a part of himself.

It was the Jinitami, the blade which held all the impurities cast off from Raigaki, a blade just as dark as Raigaki was light, and it called for the blood of the sacred sword's wielder. Now, centuries later, a new wielder has appeared, and Kenikua follows the blade's wishes to hunt down Daisuke Kurama.
