Name: Marcel "Drak" Drakkar
Side: Light
Race: Human
Age: 26
Appearance: WHITEY. Like, the only white dude in Japan. Very tanned, with unkempt dirty blonde hair fastened behind his face in an itty bitty pony tail. He has not shaved in a while, giving him a beard. Wiry frame, though clearly with muscle on top of it. He stands about 6' 3" tall, making him a giant amongst the people of Japan, and he is never seen without his cane. Upon arriving in japan, he is wearing a somewhat dirty white shirt, dirty blue pants, and his distinctive sailor's felt shoes. Insert large pack and cane, and he looks like some crazy white man traveler.
Weapons: A cane that has a sword hidden inside of it. Motley collection of knives stashed about his person. His super stiff felt shoes.
Special Skill: He doesn't hear it: Marcel doesn't hear languages. After anyone speaking a couple sentences in a different language, he "hears" what they're saying in his native french. What's more interesting is that after hearing a couple sentences, he speaks another language to someone near flawlessly. He also is not aware that he does this, he simply doesn't comprehend the concept of different languages, as he's never experienced it.
He's healthy as a horse: Another reason why the king chose him for his mission is his absolutely outstanding health. Marcel just does not get sick. Ever. He has no memory of ever having been ill. Food poisoning that has brought other men to their knees and made them useless for days merely makes Marcel have a slight headache. Broken bones heal for him in a week instead of a month, and cuts seem to vanish overnight.
Like looking into a mirror: Looking into Marcel's eyes is an interesting event. It can be akin to looking into a mirror, in that Marcel will suddenly become a perfect mimic of that person. Their movements, their behaviours, their mannerisms, it becomes a conversation with oneself. That this is happening is always given away as Marcel's eyes lose their pigmentation, and many swear that a silhouette of the person being mimicked becomes visible around Marcel. While he is conscious of initiating it, Marcel is not conscious of what happens while being a mimic, kind of like Bruce Banner directing The Hulk. Upon the mimic ending, Marcel has been known to carry some personality characteristics, but they tend to clear up within the day. Due to the obvious problem of radical changes in personality and amnesia, Marcel doesn't like doing this.
History: Born to a seamstress and a tailor, the youngest Drakkar has become a radical departure from his family heritage. While useful at plying his family's trade, he never gained the dexterity and creativity of his brothers and sister. For this reason alone, his family began to fear that Marcel would be unable to continue to serve the Royal family and they desperately began to search for other redeeming qualities he may have. His propensity for getting into fights with other children made his parents believe that a career fighting for a lord would be best, but they feared he held too much self-esteem to stand in place whilst having arrows rained upon him. As time went on, his lack of skill with textiles became more and more painfully apparent, while he became more and more adept at fighting, often being found getting into scrums with sailors. Desperate for their youngest son to not be a shame, his parents begged the members of the royal family with whom they were in good standing to accept Marcel into the navy. It worked, and at the age of 16 Marcel became a sailor. While in the navy, Marcel's disregard for language became apparent. As they met more and more people and journeyed farther, Drak (as he was known to the other sailors) became so adept at the game of chaussons that few dared to challenge him. This was partly due to his skill and savagery, but also due to his seeming inability to be kept down. His neverending good health and his ability to communicate with anyone made his commanders both wary of him, and incredibly grateful to have him. At the age of 20, the king requested an audience with him. There, he admitted that he was fearful of social unrest, and was afraid that even his most personal body guards were poorly trained, and ordered Marcel to journey the world, including the newfound Orient, and learned as much about combat as possible. He was then to return to France after developing so much skill as to be unable to suffer defeat, and train the King's bodyguards. Drak is now six years into his voyage, and has only recently entered Japan.
Extra: Having lived serving the french nobility for so long, he is first and foremost a gentleman. However, he's also a sailor. So he'll boff anything with a pulse.
Up to Raiden on this one, but can he imitate magic as well? I would also like to suggest that on top of personality quirks, he should retain some stuff in muscle memory, but I'll leave that one up to the powers that be.
