Here it is, sorry for the delay
Name: Higashi Yoshitsune
Nickname: "Mightiest Tiger" (Barely used nowadays)
Side: Light
Race: Human
Age: 60
Appearance:
Standing 6 feet tall with dark brown eyes, everything about Yoshitsune yells rugged. From the wild and unkempt mess of graying black hair that reaches well past his shoulders and the scruffy stubble that never seems to grow, to his thick, muscular frame covered in scars of all kinds, his skin tanned and rough. His clothes consist of a grey (originally white) tattered and patched kimono with the sleeves cut off and an equally dirty and patched black hakama (the pants kind, not the skirt kind) with black tabi and wooden sandals. A hooded brown cloak completes his attire. One thing of note is that Yoshitsune appears to be at least 20 years younger than he really is.
Gear and weapons:
Walking staff: A long and sturdy tree branch used to aid in walking.
Wineskin: Exactly what it says on the tin, a waterskin filled to the brim with wine. Always hanging from a strap slung over the shoulder.
Gauntlets of Uesugi: Magically enhanced items left to Yoshitsune by the warrior monk Uesugi the 6th, the gauntlets are in fact simple red fingerless gloves. What makes them so special are the sewn in mystical texts which, when activated, generate a protective aura which starts at the hand and ends at the shoulder. The aura, which glows in a faint blue color, grants the limbs a steel-like level hardness and impact.
Greaves of Uesugi: The companion item to the gauntlets, the greaves are a black pair of tabi with sewn in texts akin to the gauntlets, granting the same kind of protection from the foot to the knee.
Special Skills:
Superhuman strength: Wearing both the gauntlets and greaves had the unexpected (for Yoshitsune anyways) side effect of increasing his physical strength to frightening levels. Yoshitsune is able to easily smash through brick walls and punch rocks to dust.
Superhuman agility: Having close at the peak of a massive mountain for 20 years, Yoshitsune has also achieved a tremendous level of speed and agility on normal grounds, moving amazingly fast when he wants to as well as having impressive balance and coordination, coupled with his own outstanding reflexes.
History:
"I was born to a rather wealthy family. Not absurdly rich, but with enough money that we could afford whatever we wanted within reasonable limits, you know? I first became obsessed with martial arts because.......I don't even remember anymore, but the thing is that my father gathered the best teachers our money could get, so I started training when I was 15. By the time I turned 20, I had developed my own style, all rough and macho, full of big punches and poses to show off my muscles, and, to be fair with myself, it was indeed very effective back then. I did some stupid things, challenging dojos and going around killing animals to feed my ego. I actually became famous for slaying wild tigers with my bare hands. Pfeh, "Mightiest Tiger", they called me. I am still ashamed for all the lives I took for nothing"
The disheveled and dirty man gulps down some wine and continues to ramble "Of course, my ego was very much swollen and I did believe I was invincible. That lasted about a week. The time it took a fighting demon to follow the rumors and challenge me. Now, our techniques were equal, in fact, I seem to recall having the advantage as far as technique went. But, the demon's body was far tougher and stronger than mine. Even though I landed more blows and took less, I still lost miserably. With my ego popped like a balloon, I was able to once again focus on my training. This time, though, I was not seeking to improve my technique but my body. And so I undertook a terrible training regime. You would not believe what I did to myself, it could pass for self torture. But, after 10 years, my body had developed enough to be considered a weapon. And thus I sent word I was looking to fight demons and like a plague they came, seeking to punish the insolent human who compared himself to them. Of course, with my new body, I stomped over them and my ego reached the heaven itself. I was the greatest fighter of the land, or so I boasted. Thankfully, there was someone who managed to deflate my ego one last time."
"Master Uesugi was very kind. He did not approach me looking to prove himself or anything. He just took an interest in me, said he was hoping I would accept him as a teacher not just in the martial arts, but as a tutor for life itself. I accepted as long as he could best me in a fight. What I thought would be pushing an old man around for fun became the worst beating of my life as every move I tried was met with a simple motion that caused me to either fall flat on the ground or fly through the air, landing like a sack of potatoes every time. I had managed to dislocate my arm with my efforts, but I was absolutely in awe of the man, so I agreed to become his pupil and stayed with him until his death, 20 years to be exact. I won't give you all the details about his personal philosophy and all that, but, what I will say is that I finally incorporated his style to my own. I was 50 when he died, and had become a new man because of him. I quietly buried him and, to honor his memory, adopted a lifestyle similar to his. I have spent another 10 years like this, going wherever fate may take me and enjoying the simpler pleasures in life. But I have probably bored you long enough, let me buy you a drink and I'll be on my way"
