Ok, so I liked the idea I was coming up with, but this is turning into something more like Ifrit with a different element... well, I guess Hawk and I will just have to duke it out over the Elemental Doom Monsters! Although I do plan on turning this guy into a Ranged Elemental Doom Monster, so there's that.
Name: Ryan Sorenson
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Physical Description: 5'11" with short, dirty blond hair and hazel eyes, Ryan is really just your average young man. Usually wears jeans and some form of shirt. Depends on the weather. (Seriously, characters'll be busting out of clothes often enough, why describe em in detail?)
Bio/Background/Etc: Ryan grew up always wanting to work in some for power plant, or even as an electrical technician. He has recently gotten a job working for the local power company and is learning the details of being an electrical technician. He lives a rather dull life other than that, but he's at least happy with his job.
Monster Name: Blitz
Appearance: (Thank you, Monster Hunter, for your awesome creature designs)
Blitz is much scrawnier than the pictures, but being about 10 feet long (nose to tail) and 6 feet high, he has a very intimidating figure whatever the case may be. He also has a series of 8 long, flexible spines (4 groups of 2) running along his back that can be moved freely (kind of like a wire mixed with a less useful tail).
Abilities/Powers:
Electrical Conduction: Blitz is constantly generating huge amounts of electricity in its body and is capable of discharging it into the atmosphere. Something like this, only on a much larger scale:
In addition, the spines on his back can conduct electricity, and are typically arcing without any control, mostly as a form of releasing stored electricity. In general, like in the picture, discharges are mainly let out of Blitz's body without any directional control, either incapacitating or killing anything around it.
Heightened Speed: Since Blitz's electricity mainly incapacitates opponents, speed is necessary in order to run away if any prey is tougher to take down or fights back. Or just to run down any fleeing prey. Blitz can easily keep pace with a car, so running away isn't exactly an option.
Sooooo different from my last Paradox. But then, there's also room to get creative. Lots of room.
