Tech Support Blu-ray rom won't play some movies

So I bought an HP computer a couple years ago, with a blu-ray player. It's worked fine for me all this time, until last night. I rented Rio from a Redbox and tried to play it with Cyberlink Power DVD 10. It gave me a red screen that said my blu-ray player needs updating to play the movie. I've tried updating the Cyberlink software, but that does nothing. I'm guessing either my Blu-ray drive or video card is too old for some newer discs. But I have no basis for this aside from some random forum conversations I found through googling the problem.

Does anyone know what the problem might be, or how to find out?
