Default [FIXED] Speakers Stopped Working

So I've got some Logitech speakers that've been plugged in to my laptop for ages, and they've always worked fine. They're pretty good speakers.

Anyway, when I went to play TF2 tonight, I unplugged them, and plugged in my headset, what with the mic and the headset attachments. When I finished a few games, I plugged the speakers back in, and... they laptop is still "sounding" from the laptop speakers rather than the Logitech speakers.

HALP!

So I'm taking a looksie and it seems that while the computer recognizes that the Logitech speakers are there (I can "test" them, and sounding comes out) I can't make the computer recognize the speakers as the "default" device.

When I plug the speakers in, the laptop plays from the laptop speakers, but at a decreased volume.

Apparently I just needed to restart the computer. I have no idea why, though.
