Smallville Season Ender - Redeems fourth season somewhat
It's been a while, but I really enjoyed how they FINALLY progressed the story in Smallville's season finale episode. (or at least faked it real good)
Any thoughts? This season has sucked pretty bad in all the wrong ways, but this episode made me want to come back next season.

I stopped watching the show when that stupid-ass Charmed lite storyline came up -- mind telling me what happened in this episode?

If you must know what happened, you have to see the spoiler text,If you saw the original movie or know the stroryline, Clark goes down to an artic tundra and throws the crystal which eventually turns into the Fortress of Solitude, although it hasn't show the transformation yet.
Thats pretty much it for the season finale. I'm watching it next seaon just to see what happens. I hate when they always leave cliff hangers. (off topic: The Season Finale of Charmed didn't even make sense, they didn't leave a cliffhanger, it makes you think the show is over, no new episodes.) |

yah i thought this season has sorta sucked too. it's straying away from it's "superman basics" forgoing the truely defining moments and more for the teenie bopper aspects. but the cliffhanger was pretty good, i liked seeing the key actually made as opposed to always being tempted it. but my bet's on the eradicator as the black ship at the last scene. but i'm gettin tired of lana though, that tension in the character is getting worse and worse

First of RMB Mashirosen was talking baout the one episode where lana lois and clohe(sp) turned all magicle aka the term used was Charmed lite. they were not refering to the actual Chamed show for seasion fanaly.
Second ok i presonally enjoyed the 4th seasions and the seasions before that. and yes i thought the finale was actually kick ass and well dont for that matter. third Red Mage Black the Fortress of Solitude is already there. it stated in the show that combining the crystals lead to a great library of knowlege. the combined crystal was just a compas to get to the library. hence why it floated in the air pointing in a ceartian direction. hence why clark threw it so he would follow with super speed and (im presuming) if it stpped mid flight from the thro clark would know that there was somethign there worth checking out.

YOU'VE EATEN POO, HAVE YOU?!

RMB, you seem to have forgotten the meteor shower that levelled Smallville for the second time in under two decades. That, and Lex's evilness kicking up a notch.
I'm not sure I want to see the next season. This show's stopped being "Young Superman" and has turned into more of "Random Story Of Good-Looking People Loosely Based On Superman."

anywho i dont think it is "loosely" going to be based on superman it will be based on supeman/clark. anywho i think its now starting to actually get REALLY REALLY good. but of course we will have to wait for the next seasion to see where they are actually taking this.(oh yes of course they could possibly be brining in the flash again or hopefully intorducing some of the other "justice league" charas that we love and know. but then again it could be hopefull thinking)

they were a highly advanced socity(that is what blew up their planet after all) so they woudl have had the tech(from krypton) and the strength from being on earth to build something like that in a matter of a few months. My theory is that it was not just jor'el(sp) who visited earth but it was quite a few who came to earth to look around. its also why jor'el knew that his son would be well placed on earth. anywho im more of a marvel then DC fan myself but I know enough that the fortress was actually there before clark actually got there. hence again "combiming the three elements will lead to a great library of knowlege. which usually means it already exists not that it will be made once you get there. at least normally.

Back, But Gone Soon

I felt that the most of the episodes in this season were a stupid excuse to show boobs for the supposed fanbase of sex-deprived 13 year olds. Hrm.
Discussion involving spoilers for people who haven't seen most of the series/season: I was glad that they finally got rid of Lana's little magical power trip completely (or atleast I'm assuming the removal of the tatoo did just that). It really was a bit dissappointing, and I couldn't see how it related to the Superman storyline at all. It's good that they're finally moving on in the story. They did try to across most of the season, but only in areas where it annoyed the thinking fanbase (Lana's tatoo, the stones, etc.). Chloe learning of Clark's powers was a tad interesting, but they never really elaborated on it. Things that really ticked me off though, and are typical in comic books today, was what they did with Lionel Luther's character. They had him go to prison for his crimes, have a life-changing experience when switched with Clark, become a changed man, then instantly revert back again within one episode. Same exact person he was in season 1 and 2. The season finale made it so where I wanted to atleast see the opener for season 5, so it served its purpose. Hopefully, they'll get back on track with it in September.
