"Wait, that doesn't make sense..."
So, yeah, in Ocarina of Time, I can kinda get past the fact that a ten-year-old kid's outfit fits a seventeen-year-old later on. Hell I can even get over the sudden appearance of tights.
But...how bored slash Queer Eye is Rauru enough to actually pierce Link's ear? Also, what's with the whole thing from Zelda II. "Let's name every girl born in Hyrule after Zelda since the second Zelda is now under a curse of sleeping." I mean, what's up with that? How many times have they put together Ridley? Is it going on four now, when Metroid Prime 3 comes out? And does that include the cyber-Ridley from Zero Mission? Speaking of Metroid, and this is a complaint with Mega Man too, what's with the standard procedure of disposing of your new upgrades and techniques? I heard somewhere that Mega Man's copy ability only lasts a week or something, but still. You know? Hmm. And if the Prince "did not follow Kaileena for love" back in Babylon in Two Thrones, then why does it seem like the end of Warrior Within pretty much told you they started fucking like crazy while they sailed?

I mean my interpretation was that the Prince really enjoyed Kaileena in the same sense that, if I were stuck on an island and the only other person around happened to be Anna Kournikova, I'd enjoy Anna's presence immensely. But lust and love are very different things, and though Kaileena and the Prince shared an epic story, I never got the impression that the Prince loved her -- or really, was remotely romantically compatible with her -- in the same way that sparks flew and the chemistry shone between him and Farah. (I mean the chemistry in Sands of Time was just so well written, it was off the charts. Warrior Within seemed purposefully subdued on the romantic front by comparison.) So in "The Two Thrones," when the Prince does follow Kaileena, I think yes he does care about her, but he's following her primarily with the understanding that she's the freakin' Empress of Time or some similar shindig, and if the evil enemy gets his hands on Kaileena the results are going to be...well...as disasterous as the results actually were in Two Thrones. The Prince certainly has the kind of heart to want to rescue those he knows just because, and he had gone through a lot of crap with Kaileena. But did he love her? Well, as most of us already know...not every woman you fuck around with is a woman you truly love. And in the euphoria of having defeated immense odds in Warrior Within, I'm pretty damn sure the Prince was just in the mood to fuck around with the cute woman who just happened to be there...but a woman who he really didn't even know.

I wanna know why, in any of the Link games(especially TP), none of the townspeople seem fazed by anything. Giant golden pyramid over the castle? Eehh, redecorating project. Giant shadow beast jumps up on the pyramid and destroys it? Trick of the light. Castle Hyrule freaking explodes? Meh, Hey look! A sale at Malo Mart!

One thing I really don't understand is how Bowser still leads the Koopas. He's failed them so many times, you'd think that Kamek or someone would have lead a coup d'etat to become the Koopa republic or something.

What's with this theme of enemies always going from weakest to strongest as you progress through the game? That's gotta be a pretty damn wierd coincidence. I mean really, if you were to go out and pick 20 people to fight what are the odds that the order you pick to fight them is going to go from weakest to strongest?
EDIT - Oh, and Silver Surfer for the NES. Why did they make him into such a wuss? Isn't he super strong or something? So why does he die just from barely touching a wall?

What I really want to know about Zelda storyline is, I can accept the continual reincarnations of Zelda and Link, but from what I have seen its always the same Ganondorf. I mean what happened last time? You can beat him up, stab him in the heart seal him inside something, toss that something into another dimension, and he still gets back. If he can do that, how the hell do we even beat him in the first place?
