Laptop HD swap
I just ordered a 100GB 7200rpm hard drive to replace my current 5400rpm one. I intend to outright replace the old one and use the new one as main and the old one as just a second drive for storage. But I have no clue what the correct way is to transfer all files from one to the other so I am able to boot to the new one.
Are there any programs out there that can help me? Or plain old directions?

I usually use CDs, DVDs, or Flash Drives, but if you can connect them via network, they can easily share all files between eachother.
Do you just want personal files, like movies and music, or programs, like PaintShop Pro and MSN?

I was planning on using the slower drive as onboard storage for video files while using the faster one as my main for programs and such. They're both 2.5'' drives that I'm just going to install directly into the same machine.

Been a while since I played around with this but you -should- be able to install whatever OS you need on the new drive and allow booting off it within the BIOS. Gah. Been too long, sorry.
