Anything like a HTML Anchor in Microsoft Word?
I'm trying to create a document that is very index-like. Anyway, it'd be really helpful if I could create HTML-like anchors. (You know, {a href=#section1} type links that link you to different areas within the document.)
I'm guessing that it has something to do with the Bookmarks, but I'm not sure to implement this feature yet. Anyway, anybody have any helpful suggestions? Thanks in advance. SWB

Which Word are you using? In Word 2007, it's exactly how you said. Highlight the text you want to bookmark, then go to the Insert tab and click on Bookmarks in the Links section to, you know, bookmark it. Then, to link to it, highlight the text you want to make the link out of, then go to Hyperlink > Place in Document, and choose your bookmark name.

Thanks, although I could've sworn I put this thread in Computer Hardware & Support.
