Motion sensors on a handheld, oh good, now I can look forward to having to waggle and dance around on a crowded bus.
Fantastic. |

On the plus side, you get to watch and snicker at other people waggle and dance around on the bus.

I already don't play my DS on the bus due to getting unwanted attention. However, if I want to wiggle and dance around, I'll go babysit my nephews... When I play videogames, I wanna be totally paralyzed except for my fingers. Even New Super Mario Wii with its stupid shake the controller function bothers me. Make it classic compatible! Then make "A" do the spin, as it did in Super Mario World! Aaaaaaahh!
But yeah, what's this Vitality Sensor? Does it measure your heartbeat, and if you have a heart attack it kills your guy? Or, if you die in the game, does it cause a heart attack?

I'm pretty good at being lazy with a Nintendo.
Maybe it's for use with things like the Wii Fit and the balance board, as you can complete a lot in that game without actually using the board correctly/getting up.
Or, you know, just more crap to give your money to Nintendo for like people seem to like doing.

Sony got tons of flak with their tactics of crapping out a new PSP every couple of months, why is nintendo trying to catch up with them?
Also, Micrphone usage on Handhelds were already something i disliked. Now motion controls? C'mon this is just silly... why not focus on better hardware and Online features? This made me recall that one GBA game that used a sensor to measure light in a room and it would make day or night in the game, and that would change the gameplay |

The big question from me is: will the DS2 be capable of playing DS games?
I'm incapable of understanding why The Big Three haven't realized that backwards compatibility is a huge issue that all three companies seem likely to ignore these days. Maybe it's just me. But after investing so much money into my PS2 library, it stung like a bee when Sony stopped selling backwards compatible PS3s. And now the DS has basically become the handheld equivalent to my PS2 in terms of its sprawling library.

You know, video games would be much better without this stylus/motion sensor bullshit.
I'm going to enjoy my game of Megaman II now. |

It's completely retarded, but that's how it is. There's also the fact such consoles are also more expensive to make: that's the main reason Sony axed the old PS3 models that could do that... although why they can't program the PS3 bits to emulate the PS2 is beyond me. |
