So for Christmas I got
this laptop right here. It arrived in the mail today and there's one glaring problem (other than Windows 8 being terrible). It refuses to maintain a connection to my wireless router. As soon as I boot up the laptop, and even for the first few times I disconnect and reconnect to the wi-fi, I can go online and attempt to download Firefox (because fuck internet explorer). But the wi-fi connection always gets severed after the first 30-40 seconds and no amount of voodoo has been able to bring it back. Even google-fu has failed me. So I need some help.
My router: Linksys Cisco wrt160n V3
When I run "ipconfig /all" in the command prompt on the laptop, my IPv4 is 192.168.1.117 so it
is getting assigned an IP from the router. Also DHCP is enabled.

Here's the whole ipconfig
