THAT is some major elitist crap right there.

I keep looking for all the telltale signs of a joke, but I don't think it is. Who does this guy think he is? If you watch those video clips, he's out there preaching - yes PREACHING - taste in music! I mean, what the crap?

It would surprise me if HE had ANY musical apptitude. People listen to what sounds good to them, moron.

Firstly, although I quite like the layout, the download speeds SUCK. And the player is useless. Ah well.

Everyone is entitled to their own musical tastes and opinions on music. I don't agree with the whole 'preaching' musical taste, though. Just because someone doesn't like the same music as you doesn't make them any less a person.

I have to admit, I haven't watched any of the video clips, as they won't freakin' load, but I can probably guess what they involve.

This guy just seems to want to be a jackass, and he's achieving it. Probably loves the hate mail as well. It's all attention seeking, and as far as I know, promoting it around the internet and raising temperatures about something this idiotic is making him feel special inside.

The clips were loading in quicktime for me... Is your player acting up, or do you have a slow connection?

In anycase he goes to ticket lines with a megaphone and tells people that they have bad taste in music. Train, Hoobastank, Justin Timberland, Linkin Park, a slew of others... He wears a funky robe that makes him look like he belongs in a church as he does this...

I wouldn't even say that this boarders on creepy... It just flat out is.

It was a bit repetitive (in the sense the guy was saying the same thing over and over again) but I thought it was mildly amusing.

You've just got to love the "Linkin Park is a roller coaster" analogy. It's so true! I still like Linkin Park, but that's just too funny not to laugh at. The only other one I liked was the Train concert one where that one big guy was all up in his face. "I'm exercising my first ammendment right, sir!" Hilarious.

The others were meh.

For all of you people taking it seriously.... don't. It's satire. He's pulling public stunts that a lot of people would find offensive so others can find it amusing. Hell, I'm amused at how the people get so riled up over this guy saying bands suck.

So, I guess I find your first post amusing too, Nique. Sorry, but I do think you're overreacting. It's just like maddox, or SomethingAwful, or the gobs of sites like this on the net. They're jackasses, yes, but they're completely harmless unless the individual thinks that they're harmful. Then they tend to lose perspective.

Yeah well, for first thing, Maddox is actually RIGHT a majority of the time. When it's not about an opinion, it's about something that's really retarded that everyone agrees on, IE his more recent "Trippin'" special or "Orbitz", or just the humor of "Unintentional Sexual Comic Book Covers." Yes, a majority of people hate "Trippin'" and I'm sure that Orbitz is just as retarded - I don't fly much.

I mean, christ, having a bunch of celebrities going to different, depraved, third world countries only to say "It's so spiritual to see this," meanwhile they go back to get into their SUVs and turn the AC/heat up to max, resting into a nice sleeping bag from an American company hiring mexicans to craft 4,000,000,000 of them, all being paid 5.00 an hour. if Cameron Diaz tells me "we can get rid of things we think we need," and she can go back to her mansions - plural - and walk amongst the many multi-bedroom so her and her Justin Timberlake boyfriend can screw in multiple sections of the house.

Ahem.

Anyway. The article was funny, not nearly as blunt or as...I guess truthful as Maddox. Very self-attention gathering.
