This is the section to talk about your favourite hobby, provided your favourite hobby is games. Whether it's video games, tabletop RPGs or Scrabble, here's your home.

On console wars: avoid them at pain of temporary bans. If you absolutely must declare your undying allegiance for one particular multi-million dollar corporation that will never know your name over another, go to GameFAQs or something. Just so it's spelled out, this extends to pretty much everything you could put under the same banner - console preferences, game series preferences, rule edition preferences, all that and more.

On help with video games: feel free to ask for help, but most of the time you'll find everything you need at GameFAQs in more detail than anyone here could provide.

On keeping things organized: try to keep all posts about one particular video game in one thread and avoid creating new threads when there's an existing one about the same game. Even when it's older than a month. Do go back a few pages to make sure.
