The Tournament: Dante vs MC43

It's a tranquil lakeside. Hatake Kakashi is sitting on a nearby rock reading the latest issue of "Icha Icha Paradise".

"Well, they said my opponent would be here..."

He continued flipping through the comic, listening to the birds.

Nudaru took in the tranquil air around him with every step he took. He didn't know why he had entered this thing in the forst place, but what was done is done, and he had intended to see this to the end. He could feel the wet dew between his toes with every step he took. This place is too peaceful for a fight.

That's when he saw a man sitting on a rock. The Monk could only see the back of his body, but he looked to be some kind of shinobi. "Excuse me! Are you Kakashi?" He called out, his fists clenched next to his body. He knew Ninjas to be quick and tricky. Nudaru knew he had to keep hits wits about him.

Kakashi looked up.

"So you're the guy they sent? Well, then we don't need to waste too much time..."

Nudaru took a few more steps towards his opponant. He could feel his body trembling slightly. He had dealt with others before this, but there was something about this fighter. "No... I don't suppose we do. Let us get started." He relaxed his fists for just a second and put them flat on his hips. It was only customary to give a slight bow before the fight, and Monk was one to follow customs.

Kakashi raised an eyebrow.

He's not someone to be trifled with.

He returned the bow, then launched two kunai at Nudaru, simultaneously dashing towards the lake.

Monk could sense the wind around him change, so out of instinct he bent over to the side, dodging the two weapons from his enemy. After the near miss, he noticed that the inja was running towards the lake. so he followed in pursuit.

Kakashi's hand flew through a series of rapid gestures. He was enveloped in a puff of smoke, then suddenly two clones of himself appeared on either side.

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"

All three leaped at Nudaru, kunai drawn.

"Wha... Three of you!? But how..." He put up his arms to block the three assults which he knew he could do, but it would just help if he knew which one to focus his defense. Instead he just put his arms close to his body, ready to react to the first body that moved. He shifted his sights between the three of them. I have to let him make the first move... then I can react. I just hope I will have enough time.

A pair of hands reached up from the ground and seized Nudaru's ankles.

Nudaru looked at his feet and saw the hands come down and grab him, pulling him into the earth. At first, he struggled to get out himself, but knowing that would just be impossible, he decided to start using his Chi. It's been a while since I've used this, I hope I still know how it works.

"Jinin Hankai!" He started to glow a bright white until finally he was just a white figure, until the light exploded around him causeing the earth to break into many little pieces, and setting him free from his earth like prison. He rubbed his arms and shook his head, and continued to watch the three flying at him, if they weren't hit by the blast, which wouldn't be likely.
